Yea i Tried to make artstyles there is 1 way witch is find 3 Artists then copy somthing from their artstyles and you Got yourself one i meen Like 60%procent of learning is copying

Do some drawing exercises like drawing rows of circles and try to keep them uniform and the lines smoothly connect, draw a bunch of short and long lines parallel to each other trying to keep them straight and then try doing wavy lines

Just started making my own characters this helped a lot

Thank you! A lot of tutorials I’ve found have been very “draw the rest of the fucking owl.” Its really helpful to see an artist make, call out, and fix mistakes live

The reality is that 99% of the time, the artist will make a multiple mistakes as they draw and correct them as they go. This is a very, very normal part of the process and I try to reinforce this in my tutorials. I hope it doesn't annoy people when I go back on something and say "actually I did this wrong, let's fix it" if they've been following me really closely, haha :P

I learned to draw technical stuff at College as part of my apprenticeship education in engineering and stopped in my thirties. I started again at the age of 64 with a mind towards classical styles which I'm a big fan of. However, drawing cartoons is much more fun and helps a lot with gestural brain training, I had no idea how useful cartooning could help. Thanks.! Subbed.!

drawing cartoons is something i always wish i could do but never could most lily do to a mix of issues from bad memory to not having a strong mind's eye to even bad spatial awareness lead me to study drawing and even understanding it a ok amount but not being able to know where or what marks to make to make what i want. dreams die hard as they say.

Knowing that you are gonna get better at draw and animate it fills you whit DETERMINATION

Great tutorial. Most tutorials like this end up showing the viewer how to draw a specific character in a specific pose. Your video used a generic character and showed actual techniques that can be used for any type of character for many different poses. Great job. Now I have to check out your other videos :)

Its crazy, finnaly I have found my favorite way of drawing, I tried drawing anime, manga, realistic, 3d and many more but this was: 1. The best tutorial, 2nd the most fun tutorial and 3rd its such a fun style! Thanks for teaching me this you got my sub ❤️👍

I am starting to create my own cartoons and this video was very helpful!! Other videos don't explained it that well and they are very difficult to follow along to. This though made it so I was able to create my own cartoon!!

I combined this with another art style and it looked AMAZING!

I'm currently coming up with new Cartoon characters other than my Bat character and this is exactly what I need lol My bat so far is my best character drawing but it was pretty much by accident for how good it turned out and can't redo it This might help me come up with either a new art style or just simply improve the style I'm trying for You my friend earned a sub
