I coloured a gem just like this yesterday and could not find a decent tutorial. This morning this pops up on my YT. It’s exactly what I was looking for. I thought you explained the process perfectly and very eloquently. I’m actually quite an experienced artist but we all benefit from tips and tricks and to learn from others and getting back to basics. love this! Been wanting to delve into gems but didn't know where to start. This helps me see the angles so much better! I will be watching the series for sure. Maybe a guide on understanding the angles of different facets?

What a beautiful and helpful video - you are amazing! I have to say, after you took all that time to draw those 3 perfect shapes and you suddenly just colored them over with the dark green Sharpie, I screamed! I didn't realize you'd be able to see your original lines through that marker! Woah! Now I need to watch your other jewels, you are an inspiration! Thank you!

Very nice! I just hope in one of your other videos you actually take the time to explain where you're putting the lines for the facets and why. Watching this one, all sped through and no explanations, became a bit confusing to know where the lines were supposed to go.
