I honestly dont reccomend Drawing this Way Because if you wanna learn some of these you need Basic shapes It can make everything easier and If you want to draw a certain character you mostly use Boxes and Circles if you use her method you will Draw a character in only one way, you want to be able to draw it in every way So use boxes and circles it helps way better! Btw You shouldnt draw the details in the beggining because it will Make some part very detailed where others Are not the creator Is Skilled and a professional so Begginers should try to follow Simple tutorials , the Jawline might get affected if you use Straight lines as A Guideline and connect it, The Guidelines should be pretty thin because You have to erase it after and i also dont reccomend using Fingers as Meassurement, You Wouldnt Know whether what your doing is right or wrong so please Use the basic shape method i said before

This is the method i used when i was a beginner and what u said is right but now i have been drawing for about 3years and i am good these guidelines help me i am just starting to draw by photo reference if you have tips for that it would help me thank you.
