It's been a while I haven't watch your videos. It's good to lay in bed during night while watching a video about drawing, greetings from Minnesota, USA! ❤
You are a great teacher creating confidence in the young artist. Thank you.
You are a wonderful painter and Instructor
Beautiful! I love the final result. Charcoal is one of the few things I haven't tried yet, and this is definitely inspiring me to attempt it.

I have a horse to draw in charcoal, but this one looks so cute.
Amazing charcoal drawing! Very good narration, of what is happening, and the techniques use. Can I ask, What was the overall time frame, for this drawing?
Great . That 's good when artist can draw without to thinking how to find time and money for his passion. You are very nice man. Here in Russia it's not easy, everything is very expensive. You are very nice man,by the way).

Now, I have charcoal paper, which makes it better to draw.
I ride horses but can’t draw very well (I struggle to draw a stick fugitive) Beautiful drawings tho!
Too hard. Me I just pouf my face with charcoal dust and then slam my face on paper. You really are good sir!
First
why would you use such a bad photo as a horse portrait? The horse's long head is always an issue because of foreshortening.

Yes, shading is part of drawing.
You don't draw a horse. You hitch her up and she draws you. Especially if she's a draft horse.
