I liked this tutorial. I'm around horses again, after a long time of not being able to. I'm interested in learning how to do illustrations, to complement some short stories, and other stories I'm writing, that have horses in them. You explained things very well. I always wanted to draw horses as a girl, but was never satisfied with my drawings. I guess you just need to see how it's done.

How did u draw the base?? Before u did the trotting part? I've watched ur how it draw a horse body base it turned great! 😘 but I can't do the normal neck you did... So can u do a proper horse tutorial if u can! (ur an amazing drawer)

I am an equestrian and wanted to draw this for my binder cover and because you drew the legs in the wrong place i was going "wouldn't the horse fall over? O_o" But it turned out great thanks a lot!

Not sure what you mean by paint pens... I enjoy using Primacolor pencils or watercolor, if that helps. :)

Your horse wouldn't fall over. Pacing horses gaits are like that. Both legs on the right take steps at the same time and the two left step at the same time.

you should do a how to draw a palouse or appaloosa! I have a palouse x welsh cob and i have always wanted to draw him but he doesn't look like normal horses because he is bay with 4 white socks he's got white spots all over him his tail is black with a tiny bit of white at the base and his mane is a black and white streaked mohawk. so very unique!

Hi. I happen to be a horse person and I would like to say something about horses gaits. The horse would not fall over. Apart from trotting, walking, cantering and trotting, there is another rather uncommon gait called pacing. In this one the horse moves the two legs of the same side at the same time. Some breeds do it naturally, they are considered to be the most comfy horses to ride. Otherwise, difficult though it may seem, it can be taught. At any rate, I love your drawing videos. 👍👍They have opened my eyes. Thank you!
