LethalChris Drawing I just found your channel and I really like it and shared it with one of my friends who is trying to get better at drawing (i'd try but I can barely draw a line without a hiccup).also if you have time why don't you try drawing a mystical cat(kind of like the cat from alice in wonderland​)?maybe with cyan,black and any other colors you like.It would be awesome if you could and have a nice day.

I like the fact that you put sunshafts going through the trees. It really adds to the realism of the drawing

Wow...amazing! I'm just starting out drawing, and I don't have an arty bone in my body, but enjoying the challenge so far. How you go from a blank piece of paper to a beautiful piece of work is wonderful.

I LOVE this!! It is beautiful and at first it seemed really dark and gloomy, and then when you added the leaves and light it really lightened the mood. It's amazing how a couple simple strokes with an eraser and the side of a pencil can change the mood of a drawing so drastically!! Thanks for sharing your beautiful art!

Thank you. I am brand new at sketching (at 60 no less;-) and your video was exactly what I needed not just to understand how to draw depth but how to add those little bits that make a drawing look so very real. Additionally it’s a gorgeous sketch of a forest ( I’m a nature girl so I know).

I’m a rock painter using acrylic paints. I’d like to draw a forest background with my focal point being a husky dog in the foreground. I’d love to do a fairy in the air above the dog. Sprinkling her magic fairy dust. Thus I need to know how to draw a background. I loved your video, it helped a lot and I’ll give it a try. I’m just sketching things now before I draw it on a rock. Obviously, the size of the rock and the size of a sketch pad are quite different. Creating the need for me to get perspectives right. Anyway, thought I’d write and say thank you.

Inspired me to start drawing again, I see so many videos where it appears impossible to produce similar art but your stuff really gives a sense of what's achievable. Cheers mate.

Amazing work. Nice

Very helpful, especially for depth and for sunlight, and a really great drawing. Sometime could you draw a similar scene with different types of groundcover? I am having trouble depicting differences in small plants, some with stems and larger leaves, some bushy with small leaves, some seedlings, both coniferous and deciduous.

It is a beautiful piece I think perhaps even my favorite of what I have seen of yours since subbing a few months back. There was something a little haunting about the image before you added the leafs. Almost like an old photo from WW1, I don't mean to detract from the finished image I love that too, it just took on a different aesthetic as you finished it.

I’m a brand new sketcher, and I managed to pull off this sketch, however it was just so fast, I had a hard time noticing the details of your tutorials even with pausing haha. If you could extend them out maybe 8-10 min more to show a bit more detail in the trickier areas, that would be fantastic!
