    I'm only 3 weeks deep into learning about graffiti and haven't even scratched the surface but I've seen a handful of your videos and they're all really helpful and informative and encouraging. Pretty rad artist, awesome teacher. Like, a modern day Bob Ross...but with graffiti 🤷🏻‍♀️

    I'm a new student to the art of lettering. I accidentally found your channel ..I'm so glad. No mistakes, right? I love graffiti. My city does a guided graffiti tour every sumer. We get a map and at every stop there's food and good music. It's a great way to actually get to meet the "Outlaw Artists" in broad daylight. Sci, they can see and feel our appreciation for their talent. Actually, my city, Everett Washington, encourages artists who do this. Lots of businesses hire them to paint on the walls of their buildings. If so, forward thinking! You're my first graffiti tutorial! Thank you. I've already gone broke buying brush pens for my lettering. Looks like I'll be spending more money on markers. But here's the good news. Crayola Broadline markers are a GREAT INEXPENSIVE WAY for new students of all styles of lettering. Of course, I've spent tons on Tombow fude dual- tip brush pens... but I started with both sizes of Crayola broadline and the slimmer super tips. Did you start learning your amazing talent? You're very EXCELLENT!

  • @S1VE

    @S1VE

    It refers to the medium that supplies the pigment. Like a sharpie for example is an alcohol based marker. They are common to bleed through the paper as you have described. They are not like paint that gets applied only to the top surface

    I learned it the way Bilbobert describes it... never heard the term wildsytle 3D though... the difference to the styles you use here is that there is mostly no clear outline to follow so it actually looks like a real 3 dimensional object combine that with a drop shadow and it looks even more real. Its so hard to learn a sick 3D style ... I only know 2 people who really learned to master it.

You still know ur sh*t and have emaculate teaching skills… so maybe just grab my comment as inspo if you decide to teach more about 3D and dropshadows… I teach it with to pens in the hand at the same time. Darwing cubes and rectangular boxes. Afterwards connecting and filling. It builds understand of 3D-space… bubbly letters is lesson 11 😄
