Seriously the small details matter. I've watched like 15 different videos on how to do this and this is the 1st video that is as descriptive as it is to literally show you where the files need to go. For me it was the pathway. In all the other videos the pathway shown is wrong. This one shows the correct path and verifies that it works. Love it! Thank you so much

This video is a life saver for novices like me. Computers aren’t that bad but once you start extracting files it’s just frantic button clicking and hair loss after that for me then a fingers crossed when loading up the mod menu to see if it worked lol

Really any of those sites will work just fine , if there are issues its probably with the mod itself. Sometimes it's just trial and error with mods on what works. Do you have the trucks in the correct mod folder? Are the mods in 1.43? Did you check the "mod dealer"? Did you activate the mods in the mid manager?

Go to your Home Screen and left click and go to display settings and go to monitors and our same display on both

Do i need to have mods from other websites of can i just use the steam mods and it works the same way

You have to use "WinRar" or "7zip" to download mods, it should open as a .scs

I followed step by step and the mods won't appear in the mod manager menu to activate them all my files are .scs

So we dont need to buy winrar?

I have the mods active but I don't see access mod dealer soo cuz I have 45000 in my game so do I have to earn more money or what

It doesn't matter how much money you have, check the main dealer of whatever brand of truck mod you have installed. see if it's there

Ok so I figured it out.. I use gforce now. U have to go to steam on a computer to access them then go back to play using gforce now. Feel free to pass on the info someone else might need to know. Thanks

Mods from steam do not go into a folder. You click subscribe and they are automatically in your mod manager. Make sure you wait until they download before you leave the steam workshop screen if you have slower internet.

Are 7zip/winrar safe? I'm not necessarily PC inclined and I've only been playing ATS for 2 weeks so to put It bluntly I'm paranoid about my security if I use these sites...

The program Winrar or 7 zip is safe to have . But yes you can get not necessarily viruses from these sites but can get malware or download a program you don't want if your not careful. That's why I specifically say DO NOT start clicking on anything that says download. Read the page a bit before clicking. I've been doing this for over 2 years and luckily have no issues.

the file has to come as an SCS file. some mods come as a file and you put the whole file in your mods folder.

If and when the mod has been downloaded, and you've inserted it over to the actual utilization area. Look back at where it was and still is to see if it's gray, green or red. IF IT'S RED. DO NOT CLICK ON ACCEPT. GET RID OF IT POST HASTE OR SOONER.

order of mods depends on the mod. most do not matter but if you download a mod that has multiple files then It probably will matter. usually there is a "readme" file among the mod you download that explains that

the same way I show in this video. you download the mod from his page. go to your download folder, drag it to your desktop, use the path I provide in the video and take the file from your desktop and put it in your mods folder
