    My neuropathy flared up recently, and I was looking for a product to treat both inflammation and to boost my immune system. I chose CBD dominant RSO oil. I cannot recommend it more highly! Within 2 hours I began to feel generally better. I dosed heavily (1 gram in 8 days) and my neuropathy has been totally tamed! My only side effect was a feeling of wellness.

Luckily I found a local company here in Dayton that extracts CBD and makes products. I couldn't get myself to buy this at a gas station or a CBD franchise store. It works for Pain, and Sleep. Good luck.

    For orientation, if anyone is a complete beginner. I am 20 year old female, weigh 57kg (bmi 18-19) and i take 4 drops of 10% cbd oil occasionally in the evening if i have anxiety. Below that, i dont feel anything and i also dont feel anything if i take the same dose and didnt have any anxiety before. If anyone needs a rough orientation at what might work for them, if they have similar values as me :) But as the doctor said, see what works for you, this could be a starting point 🌟

    Exactly! Lots of people expect cannabis to be like a pharmaceutical drug that works immediately and it can on certain things depending on how bad the ECS is overall. However, the majority of times it takes weeks if not 1-3 months at the right dosage to see peak effects.

My rib, back, and knees are painless now. I’m taking about 50-75 ml per night now. Letting it sit under my tongue for a minute. It can lead to some insomnia. I just recently stared a regimen for back pain. I slept no more than 4 hours a night. The strange thing is I have taken CBD off and on since 2010. Never had the insomnia problem from it. I googled it and it seems many people are having the same side effect. Definitely do not take it in the evening or at night if it is causing insomnia.

    Hello. Thanks for the kind words. It really depends on what one is going for. I always feel that focusing on CBD with some THC is the way to go at this time based on what we know. A lot of people I find do not want the intoxicating effects of THC and simply want to take advantage of the health and wellness benefits of the cannabis plant hence concentrating on CBD is favorable.

    i just started CBD oil for chronic pain (trigeminal neuralgia). Can you comment on the effects of CBD on the cardiovascular system, specfically the heart. There are some cardiologists who are advising against use of THC/CBD due adverse effects on the heart. Also, does CDB oil taken by mouth/or sublingually need to be disconconued prior to surgery, and if yes how long prior to surgery. How mcuh of concern is the anti-platelet effects (increased risk of bleeding) of CBD. CBD oil is helping me with pain, and I really would like to continue to take it with peace of mind. Thanks.

So I’ve always told customers that if they take too much CBD at one time they won’t OD, but instead they may feel more anxious if taking it for anxiety or restless of taking it for sleep. Because taking too much for the body to metabolize will have opposite desired benefits. Am I correct on this?

    Since our body produces its own cannabinoid or cannabis then do we need to take CBD everyday?

  • @DoctorJack16

    @DoctorJack16

    3 жыл бұрын

    Great question. The reason CBD helps a lot of folks is that our endocannabinoid system over time or due to illness, medications, processed foods, etc. ends up not producing enough of our body’s own cannabinoids. Hence CBD helps supplement it and gets our body back to homeostasis.

    Hi- you seem to know your CBD. I have taken several different high quality brands of CBD over the years (recommended by my cannabis nurse) and even lately tried nano CBD. I have never felt anything (except sometimes high from the THC- yes I am that sensitive). Meaning- I have not felt relief from the things that I am using it for - chronic pain, anxiety, sleep disturbances. I have heard that there is a subset of people for whom CBD doesn’t work. Are you familiar with this theory and if so can you send me some resources to learn more. Thanks! Or any other suggestions? and yes I was at a high dose at one time. 100 mg BID

    You'll want to take it everyday, and it is true that you might need a higher dose, it really is an experiment. Different CBD companies use different strains from the cannabis plant, so try a couple of brands, each for about two weeks before trying another one, one brand may do nothing for you, and the other may work. I would recommend taking broad spectrum cbd if you get drug tested, as it doesn't have THC in it, but it still has the other cannabinoids in it. If you don't get tested, try full spectrum cbd, there is a little THC in it, and unless you are really sensitive, you won't feel "high" from it.

    I'm in the same boat with the anxiety and depression. The CBD does help, although I'm new to it I can feel a difference.. it's a strange feeling. You don't need to take it every single day but I do take it 4-5 times a week and twice a day on those days. Everyone is different and for my particular issue I find combining THC flower with the CBD oil (the dosage my doctor gives me) work very well together.

It really varies quite widely in regards to what dose works for who. I’d also suggest speaking to your healthcare provider beforehand. I hope that helps. Thanks so much for commenting. Wishing you well.

    Standard dosing for epilepsy is 20mg CBD/kg of body weight. Treating symptoms with microdosing works because the placebo effect. Once obesity or other chronic disease presents the patient requires at least 1,000 mg of cannabinoids orally a day for at least 3-6 months to reactivate the ECS. The upstream cause of chronic inflammation is TERT gene activation from malfunction of the Endocannabinoid system. The gold standard for oxidative disease now is to fuel and repair the ECS with 1 gram PO of cannabinoids, which then improves the quality of electrochemical messaging for the whole body. This process results in inactivating the TERT gene. Potency of THC portion dosed per level of disease and need for telomere regeneration.

I am getting good results but am also have some allergic like reactions- eye pressure/redness and runny nose i am not totally sure if this can be blamed on the CBD but it does happen at times after the CBD dose. Should I be concerned? Should I take an antihistamine with the CBD Dosing. I really feel CBD is making a great impact on my life and want to continue it.

    I am a woman, about 150lbs BMI 23, take 50-60mg at a time and feel virtually nothing (high quality stuff, not garbage). Although I have not exceeded 120-150mg in a day. I understand why he can't give you advice and obviously neither can I, but I just wanted to chime in and normalize your experience a bit. For me, the amount I'd have to take to feel anything would be cost prohibitive. Glad you have been able to feel some pain relief.
