Hey what’s up🤙🏽 I hope you all enjoyed this video! It’s slightly different than others I’ve posted but I am really happy with how it turned out and what it means to me. Now some of you might notice a slight schift in my content and this might be the first video I've done without traveling anywhere. The reason being that I just finished working on one of my biggest projects to date, www.storyflow.so which will be coming out in a couple of months. From next month I will be traveling the world again each month but I do want to start focusing on sharing the things I read and reflect on in life with you as just creating travel films isn't enough for me anymore☝🏽 Thanks again for your support, means the world to me🙏🏾

hey kayy gota add something 'bout the video ... i liked the quality of the edit the filming and such but i think (my idea) the video is a bit like harsh and it felt like "yea guys do that do this ur worthless" i personally know what u r trying to do and give a message like ... i think the pacing and the music and maybe your tone affects this . i just wanted to give my own opinion tlk . but do what works best u know more than me

I've been in Germany since I was 18. In my young age i did a lot of jobs such as clean lady, waiter, dishwasher, worker at McDonald's and in the fabric etc. It was very exhausting but after having a choice to get an education and to study after that I became an mechanical engineer. Never in my life I thought one day I would become an engineer in Germany 🇩🇪 but my big and only childhood dream was to become a teacher or an educator. So after a while working as an engineer I studied again to become an educator to get my childhood dream come true. Now I'm 50 and very happy with my profession. I love kids and I love working with them. My school kids are daily very loud and full of life, the job is often stressful, noisy but also fulfilling and I love going to work every day. I'm grateful 🙏. Thank you for your great work ❤

The smarties demonstration was alarming and showed how I've been feeling lately - that after sleeping, cooking, eating, washing up, laundry, recycling, food shopping, cleaning, exercising, hobbies, relaxation and some social interaction there doesn't seem enough time to work enough towards my goals. I've been wondering how other people get everything done especially if they live alone. I know wealthy people pay for cleaners and gardeners but most of us can't afford that so we have to fit everything into our daily routines on top of doing our work/business.

yeah, you basically work and train after work, and you are left with 2 free hours, and one of them you spend to take a shower and cook.. you are left with 1h to read something, if you have energy left.
I relate to this so much. I made a decision to quit my job 2 days ago. I’d rather live a life chasing purpose rather than being stuck at a job that I hate
Kay, the combination of your cinematography, editing, sound design, and script in this one is outright legendary! The intro alone deserves an Emmy! 🏆 Thanks for sharing your journey and inspiring your viewers. ⚡
Brother the fact that you reached out to those like yourself like this, you have my eternal thanks.
Hello Kay, I have been following you for a long time and I see that your last few videos are all about you in your choices and the price you pay for the things you like. After watching these videos, I seem to see myself. I support you very much. I hope you can continue to do better and continue to bring us better content.

Ive been a long-time subscriber and i always look forward to watching your new videos! And this one was also another banger! Your style of capturing film and editing is insanely good. This channel has inspired me to chase after my travel film-making dream. I’m currently working towards saving money doing nails part-time, but my goal is to save enough so i can go travel for a couple of months and attempt to film these cinematic-styled movies and post them on youtube. I don’t hate my job now, but i wish i could be spending more time on doing things i want to do. I want to travel the world, and i believe one day i will gain the financial freedom to always do what I love. Thank you for making theses videos. You really are an inspiration. Don’t ever stop making these travel films. ❤
I’ve been feeling the same way, but I wasn’t sure how to put it in words! I love how well you were able to express it so clearly. Such a masterpiece 🙏🏽
Thank you so much. I was still afraid. Because I wanted to completely change my life this year. But this video has reaffirmed me and I'm so excited about what's to come. Sometimes you need understanding and a little reminder. :)
Public school is a basic education safety net for society, a fall back plan for a wage / salary job. University is a system for people to become certified for work in technical fields which is necessary for dentists, engineers etc. If your a creative person who doesnt want any of that, you should focus on your portfolio, experience / selling your services or work.

Couldn't help but notice the Gevirtz- style cinematography 😍 Awesome video!
This is exactly how I feel and writing my thoughts in a journal recently supports this. I have a fiancee and a dog that are dependent on me though, and I feel like the life I want to have is not the life I can have with them... I feel like being split in two people, one who wants a calm and simple life in one place (doesn't always have to mean comfort and conformity) and one who wants an exploration filled adventurous life
I think what is scaring me the most about taking my leap of faith is not knowing how to achieve what I want. I have my goal, but to get there I can’t see the way and I think that scares me the most. I’m saving up as much money as I can right now so I can go full time into my dream, but I can’t help but have that fear that I won’t be able to achieve the dream before I run out of money. I’ve been developing my skills towards on the side in the evening, but I feel such a deep rooted pull in my soul to take that leap of faith.

Amazingly done! Thank you for sharing, so much work and thought must have gone into this film. True fulfilment comes from knowing you are working for something bigger than yourself! Aligning yourself with God's plans for your life is a joy I wish everyone to experience.

Thank you SO VERY MUCH!!!
Great video! It's really challenging to comprehend and accept what you're saying, even though everything you're saying is absolutely correct! Decades of mental conditioning have solidified our mindset, leaving us only able to express a fleeting sense of wonder. But as soon as the clock resets to that conditioning, we find ourselves lost once again. Its dark cloud is so impenetrable that it doesn't even allow us to see what lies beyond. I know and believe that you have discovered a way to see through these clouds, and I hope that one day you'll be able to articulate it in a manner that serves as a perfect pair of lenses through which we can view reality. I'll be eagerly waiting for that day!
Thanks for this message. 🙏🏻

This message should have been arround 6 years ago and not make me go into the conformity... Only after 5 years I was able to break free and start living on my own terms again. 6 months now as a full time filmmaker so this video resonates a TON. Very well wrtitten, paced, matching shots and ofcourse the grade.. Big ups Kay. Hoop nog een dag een keer iets samen te kunnen maken.
