Crank always goes to top dead centre.
What about the crankshaft? I need to know the position of the crankshaft.

And how you fit back valve cover?Its not going back because of that spring loaded thing inside valve cover.
Is it necessary to take off timing belt and pulleys to take off the cam cover (top cover)?

Yes.
I'm 99.9% sure cylinder 1 on this engine is at the clutch side of the engine, but the speaker indicates this as no 4 which would be incorrect.

In Renault the first is next to the clutch!

Thanks for confirming that, I was sure No1 cylinder/spark was on the clutch bell housing side on this engine. I've just replaced all four pencil coils at 152,000mls after one finally died. I could have replaced just that one, but for a full set with a lifetime warranty for just £28 it was a offer too good to pass up! Engine runs much better now, get about 3% more MPG in the city and about 5% on the motorway, more power also, so has been well worth the investment.

,, you need the camshaft locking tool,no 1 is at the clutch side,trust the French to change tried and trusted easy ways of doing things.

l can see everything but Renault clio3 timing marks u don't make it
first note your sound is very low the second note the first piston of Renault engine km4 is near gear box side and piston no 4 near camshaft sprocket because it different from other vehicle and when I open oil case I see no on piston is written

this is wrong!! You have to lock the crankshaft too!!! Be aware!!
