Can you give any advice on upgrading a 4 stoke Mercury (2011 model) 9.9 to a 15HP?

my outboard motor revs up when i go full throttle. can you make a video on how to fix it? I haven't found it myself yet. {mercury 6 hp 2 stroke}

Is the fuel filter reverse threaded?

Can you clean soark plugs with petrol?

is fogging oil necessary for the maintenance?

Nah, not really. Just take out the carb and clean it, take a look at the plug(s), flush the internal fuel tank and your good to go.

@@rajeshmisra1030 When you run it last, turn the fuel off and let it run dry. This will keep fuel or of the carb that will gunk/gel up.

What’s the 15hp 2 stroke spark plug part#?

I have a small lever under the cowling of my 25hp mercury (late 90s) moves back and forth and seems very loose, but does not come out...do you happen to know what it for? ...I've never owned a boat or motor before

It's most likely your tilt lever to help move the motor up and down

i bought a used one after connecting to fuel... it said poof and caught on fire... around the head of the engine... some people say its broke some people say it was vapors... how bad you think?

the first one is 2 stroke and the secnd outboard is 4 stroke. he said it in the video.
