Starting with DU and finishing with singles in a WOD is SOOO key. I avoided DU's in any WOD because I didn't feel like I'd get a good workout in since I'd be fighting the rope the whole time. Now I'm able to get 10-15 DU's pretty clean and then transition to singles if needed. I give myself one chance to get DU's going again once it's broken in a WOD and then do singles to keep it moving. It has helped so much not shying away from them.
Those muscle memory drills are some of the best double under advice I have ever heard! You have successfully converted me from a casual viewer into a subscriber

What an awesone video, Love you!
I watch these double under tutorials whenever they pop up and this is the first one that reminds us to stay relaxed when jumping, suggests bar tap drills, and uses the whistling rope as a cue for speed. It’s really cool to hear some new ideas!
I like how you acknowledged it can be frustrating and to just try again another day.
This is great. Awesome tips. Great progression tips.
Well done. I have seen so many but yours is really top. Very analytical and clear step by step procedure. Nice work 👍

Thank you so much for a good techniqe
LOVE YOU and love this video! Especially the tips with the double unders!! I am a jump roper on Instagram and I think you could even shorter still, around hip level and this literally means that all the motion is from the flick of your wrists and nothing else - I did a 70,000 DU challenge about a year ago and this saved me and my energy!
Super helpful!
You explained it clearly and precisely. This is big help. Thank so much!

What I find very important in DUs is the ability to relax as it is mentioned at the end. It is certainly valuable to slow down the rythm to feel how you can relax yourself just after the wrist movement.

Kristi Eramo !!! I’m doing it. Been practicing everyday and rewinding you’re progression methods. Today, I’m confident in my DUs. Still working on doing it consecutively but I can def do the pattern single, single, DUs repeat etc. thank you so much. Do you have a video for T2B?
I’ve got to give this video huge props. I watched this video on Monday and didn’t have a chance to test out any of the training and advice until today (Friday). For the first time, I strung together sets of 15 and 20 double unders. Prior could only put 3 or 4 together. Thank you for videos like this. Seriously!
Thank you so much! I can do double understand but I couldn’t alway do one because the rope would hit my feet sometimes.
