How to do Code Replacements with Photo Mechanic 2021
This tutorial al all about code replacements for photographers and how to do code replacements in Photo Mechanic.
I will show you what are code replacements and how to use code replacements. I'll walk through creating a text file for football using freely available squad lists and explain how to prepare it so that it works correctly.
Then, I will hop into Photo Mechanic to upload the code replacements file and show you it in action.
The formula I have used in Excel to help create the fields are a follows:

@@Talru Have you or, do you use Autocomplete?
You can use Autocomplete for "passes the ball" instead of Code Replacements. Autocomplete is typically faster than Code Replacements.

thank-you for this great video! A question in your code replacement, does a backslash at the end auto complete the code ... it went to fast for me to pick up the answer I put the last backslash in quotes 'cause thats where my question is all about ie \w22\. ty!!!

on my photomechanic it wont let me upload any files from the textedit app on the mac anyone know any alternatives

Hi Duane. Apologies, I missed this comment a few weeks ago. That's strange, I had the trial version previously and I think all of the functionality still worked. Have you had any luck since?
