i do something like that all the time ; slide by. duck under. anything to help big diagonal step take the quarter or back.
Can you do video what to do when your opponent is stiff arming against your head when doing russian tie, drives me nuts and i cant get it to work...

Practice is important! You need to work the underhook in practice and get comfortable with it before using it in competition. Generally, keeping your hips in with your underhook will prevent the headlock.
You seemed short of breath from riding that unicorn. Is that How you train cardio?
