☆This is probably my most requested video, so I FINALLY did an updated tutorial of how I sew in my hair extensions. I left my hair out this time because I wanted a sleek and straight look (if you've been here a while you know I LOVE that style!).
You can definitely sew on a closure piece if you don't want to leave any hair out. Grace Hair sent me a closure so I'll be making a wig ASAP. Anyway, I tried to make this tut as detailed as possible so you can practice doing your own hair and do great on the first try. My goal is to inspire you to create, so let me know how I did! I always welcome your feedback. XOXO Jodi

I sewed in some hair that was bought months ago. I just free styled for the first time. For my first time I think I did a pretty great job! I'm never going back to a hair dresser to do my hair. I can do it myself! It sure does save money.

Good looking finally a video that shows the braid pattern xx💙💙 don't ever delete this video I'm planning on doing this in the future sense my mother don't want to put a weave on my hair sense she said Kayla yu don't need that necessary shit your already have hair your not bald headed
I learned thru KZread to sew tracks to a cap including the closure. Then I sew the cap all around the perimeter of my head and wham bam boom glam! The more you do this the better one gets. Saving on beautician allows me to purchase higher quality hair that can last 3 years and more with proper care. Thanks for your hair tutorials, they continue to inspire me to try new looks on my own!
I finally got up the nerve to do a curly sew in. You inspire me to try a straight one! Thanks for being easy to learn from.
I'm doing my first sew-in on myself this weekend. 🙂 You make it look so simple.
she sew in hair like a pro love it she did that go girl
Kudos to you for having the patience , energy and attention span to do this I swear I would have quit half way through and got bored
Brilliant Beauty has never failed.
I'm a white guy and that was one of the most interesting and amazing things I've ever seen. Thank you for making this video.
i am actually going to try to do this sew in on myself this weekend. thank you for your step by step
That was really good! I always thought a sew-in took an EXTREMELY long time and said I'd never spend that much time on my hair but that doesn't even take that long! The most tiring part is the braiding! Thank you so much because the other videos were lame but yours was very organized and had good quality. Nice job!
Wow! I never knew how people did this. I've never gotten a weave myself, so this is super cool to see! It looks great!
Yours is the best I've seen so far when you say it'll be flat even some professionals I've watched don't get it that flat I'm thinking about doing mine myself because I don't feel like paying someone to do it right now
Lmao I'm trying to learn how to do this for my girlfriend. I've done her hair for her a few times, but I always tease her about getting pink hair (getting a weave in). So I just want her first weave to be in caring hands lol

Oh my goodness. I love this ❤️❤️❤ this was not easy I bet. You are so talented. Thx for this 😘😘
When doing My own sew ins I've never done it with a cap but I love the way you've done this & I'll deff be watching this Video the next time I do my own Sew in!!!! Thank You : )))
Thnak you sooo much for this video. I can not tell you how much I hate the lumpy method of braiding and for the longest I thought it was the only way. I did my sew in for the first time and it's probably the best I've had just because of the braiding pattern itself so thank you so much for the video and keep it up.
This video is exactly what I needed. I am going to try this diy sew in!
This something I'm about to do myself for the first time ever

Thank you for this video! I'm turning 13 in December, and school's just about to start. I have thick curly hair, because unfortunately I wasn't blessed with beach waved biracial hair. My mom is hair stylist, and we try our best, but for school, we decided to use extensions. My appointment is in the 15th, currently counting down the days!

that was the best diy sew in tutorial I've ever seen! I'm about to try it now. question: will my leave out blend and look natural if my hair in the front isn't very long? it's about 4 inches long I would guess. thank you for uploading this video!
So talented babe!
GIRRLLLLL! THAT IS TALENT!
I never had a sew in but I would try this because it looks so easy ... great tutorial !! 😊
I would definitely try this but I am scared I might poke myself with the needle

I would love to try to do my own sew-in, but I can't cornrow to save my life. 😩 Also could anyone explain to me what's the purpose of the anchor braid? I'm new to the sew in life, so forgive my lack of knowledge.
@dianynoel22

The anchor braid is so there won't be a gap in between the leave out and the wefts but it's not necessary.

+aibbz93 it's not a put down its response to her comment of looking "rough" without it. Jodie looks great with and without makeup. It's not your place to respond negatively to her followers, you will make her lose followers by posting negative comments because some people may think you speak for her. Don't sabotage her page because you're in your feelings taking stuff the wrong way. Good Day!😆

Dakota Mejia because white hair is usually too soft and not textured enough to stay put. braids come undone and it tangles. its not racist at all, we have a completely different hair. didnt you know that?
@alexis-ov8pg
7 жыл бұрын
ipesina you can use braiding hair to cornrow your hair and just sew into that . But there are white people who use their real hair for cornrows and it still works for the sew in so you should still try it out .
