How to do a keratin treatment at home

Got frizzy, thick or damaged hair? Then keep on watching...
So, if you guys have been here for a while then you know I am OBSESSED with Keratin Hair Treatments - I get them like clockwork every 3-4 months Bc they make my hair manageable. As some background on my hair journey, I’ve naturally got thick, long, porous hair that doesn’t quite curl or wave when air dried it just goes frizzy which let me tell you is not cute 😅. It also doesn’t help the fact that in my late teens and early 20s I decided to bleach the f*** out of my hair and the result left my hair short, brittle and really rough. Enter Keratin Treatments that add the essential protein of ‘keratin’ back into the hair which leaves damaged hair soft, shiny and silk AF. Not to mention it relaxes frizz and curls..and cuts drying time down by half! The only downside is that it is time consuming and expensive if you have long, thick hair like me (starting at $250!) which is why I was SUPER stoked to find go-Kera by @scaevolacosmetics which is an at home treatment that promises the same results but for a fraction of the price. It’s been a week since I’ve done it and I absolutely love it and highly recommend to anyone who has the spare time on their hands and wants to save some $$ 😊
