How To Do A Burnout With Your Car

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Try some Donuts: • How to do Donuts With ...
A quick look at a few proper ways to do a burnout with your car, somewhat safely and under control. This is the first step to learning drifting, a great skill for drag racing, stunt driving, or just for fun. Filmed here at Team O'Neil Rally School in a BMW E46 328i rally car.
One way to do a burnout in a manual car is to use left foot braking, while the other common way to burn out is to use a heel toe technique to control the throttle and brake simultaneously with your right foot.
To do a burnout in an automatic car, it is the same process only much easier because you can left foot brake and have one foot per pedal.

    Just so u guys know, never put a racing seat belt on if it connects straight to the floor or straight down behind the seat, make sure it is connected to the roll cage or somewhere secure at the rear of the car because if you get into a crash where the seat belt goes into the ground or behind the seat it will instantly break your spine if you're going fast enough.

  • @Teamoneilrally

    @Teamoneilrally

    Definitely, the seat belts should go back as close as possible to horizontal from your shoulders, and mount to the roll cage.

    Yesterday at cars and coffee a Coyote mustang did a nasty burnout. I figured he had line lock because he was holding the brake while he was spinning, and moving foward a little bit. It was very nicely executed! Meanwhile there was abother mustang that did a still burnout, and the rear started to float to us, I was scared shitless! 😂

    Next do a video for an auto trans. For some reason everyone seems to think you need get to high rpm in neutral and then shove it into drive and blow the trans because they don't understand how a torque converter works. Few people seem to realize if you just left foot brake and mash the throttle, it will either sit at converter stall rpm or spin the tires with minimal damage/risk involved.

    clayton8or_2 no true. At about 400 to 450 whp mark, traction is variable even on the street with normal all seasons. With drag radials they chirp pretty good. On a track with drag radials you can twist axles. At least in my 91 Galant vr4.
