how to do a BEACH WAVE PERM

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

today we're here with one of our lovely clients who has a ton of beautiful, full locks. she is blessed with a bit of natural waviness in her hair.- but i'm going to kick it up a notch with a BEACH WAVE PERM that adds tons of VOLUME.
HIGHLIGHTS :
03:00 preliminary CUT
03:30 hair TEXTURE after wash
03:42 the SECTIONING pattern
04:19 inserting the ROLLERS
06:45 hair texture AFTER rollers
07:00 STYLING the hair with nvenn 'curl'
08:49 the FINISHED look
today i am going to do a #perm process to create a stunning #beachwave style but first, she does a quick trim to get rid of any dead split ends. finally, i'll create the finished #beachwaveperm using curlers, and with some help from fabulous #nvenn #natural hair care products. this BEACH WAVE PERM is a fantastic style that has become more and more popular over the last couple years. it's easy to maintain, and versatile enough for any occasion. better yet, she can wear it for quite a few weeks before needing to be in my chair again.

    that's awesome that you specialize in perm! there aren't many stylists that do! so that makes you special. her perm actually looked great for months 💕. she had enough natural wave that she could sustain the life of a looser perm. also she wanted something really relaxed. she'd rather get it done more frequently than have it too tight for a couple of months. how long have you been specializing in perms for? btw, we do a monthly hair product giveaway for our 'split end trio' (no purchase necessary 😉), if you want to enter, you can do so at www.nvenn.com/giveaway

    Lauren T 😬😁So half good half bad, i had an ombre thing going on, half was my natural brown and ends were bleached blonde, well...lets just say I had to chop off my blonde ends because they got fried 🤭 but now i have a wavy short bob, not curly, but very lose waves I just don't think the experiment is worth repeating. Just do stick to the more traditional ways of doing perms. FYI don't ever do a perm on bleached hair😜im just glad hair grows back. Eventually 😩

  • @zurushi

    It's called Flexi Rod or Bending Curler. You can order from Amazon or just Google there are many online shops. But I recommend to use a smaller size to create longer lasting wave

  • @nvennhairbeauty

    @nvennhairbeauty

    3 жыл бұрын

    Yes I got them on amazon actually. My local beauty suppliers oddly didn't carry anything like them. @Europa J is correct. A smaller rod would have a longer lasting wave because the curls are tighter. My client wanted something REALLY loose though to match her natural texture that was in her hair. She just had some flat spots that didn't have any wave. If your client is unsure or doesn't know if they want to fully commit, you can always start with a bigger rod and transition to a smaller rod the following time OR alternate between 2 sizes of rod xoxo

    try posting a free ad in a local paper! we have kijiji here in canada (i'm not sure exactly where you are from. If you are from the U.S. it'd be like craigslist.) facebook market place is also good. i just post that i'm looking for a model with "X" type of hair and that you are trying a new technique. there is ALWAYS a handful of people that are willing to volunteer for some free hair! this perm is so easy to do and you can charge your regular perm prices for it 🤑it's also unique in the industry because perms in general aren't as popular! if words get out that you can do this, it'd be very lucrative for you behind the chair 😉

  • @nvennhairbeauty

    @nvennhairbeauty

    3 жыл бұрын

    nope. perm paper is absorbent so the perm solution penetrates through anyways. the solution also needs to saturate the hair so that it can break and reform the bonds in the hair. perm papers are just to make your life easier and hold the ends together so that its easy to roll 😃
