Awesome video. You're on a real streak lately with these DIYs. I love watching your process of transforming dull parking lots into skate gems. I remember once when I was a kid some invisible hero built a small wood quarter pipe and left it in the public parking lot in my neighborhood. It lasted about a month before it disappeared. I'm sure it was dismantled and thrown away by some community official/ activist... but for that month that ramp became a magical place for us to skate. I learned to drop in on that ramp. I've been thinking about how I might pass the favor forward to the next generation in a way that won't result in me getting a trespassing charge or result in an immediately destroyed/stolen obstacle. I feel like I'm close to coming up with a plan thanks to your channel. I'd like to offer one more thing, if I may. Most people who are reading this are probably already familiar with safety around chemicals, but it's worth repeating: Always wear gloves and safety glasses when working with uncured Bondo, or any epoxy resin. Repeated skin or inhalation exposure to the curing agents in epoxy resins can result in developing a permanent allergy to the stuff. Some people tend to develop allergic dermatitis after only a few small skin exposures. There is no cure for this. Generally people who develop the allergy become unable to work with even tiny quantities of epoxies without experiencing an allergic reaction. The allergy also tends to get worse with each exposure. So, for the sake of all you DIY skate spot hobbyists, don't touch, breathe vapors from, or hover your face over uncured epoxy resins!

I love doing little shit like this so riders have spots. I skate and bike. But mostly bike. Used to have these crazy hard steel pegs and wax out the ass just for going sketchy street grinds and smoothing out the ledge over time. Can basically break it in rideable for skaters if you don't chip the edge. Just gotta avoid peg chingers and bonking the edge but not that hard. Gotta get a rub brick. Probably way faster and probably let me make more spots rideable even if I leave em rough.
