I cannot tell you how much I enjoy your videos! When I was little My mom use to make the most beautiful bread dough wreaths! I think some call it salt dough? She baked them: with that sponge clay I would love to see what you would come up with for sure! Or would you use plain air dry?

@@mysweethomeliving I’ll find and send you the recipe. She rolled and cut out a base circle formed pears apple ext used cloves for stems and freehand cut leaves. Placed on wreath with dab of water and baked they’re gorgeous

I’ve made something similar with muslin and a dab of sewing. I’m just 2 hours north west of Evansville in Sullivan, Indiana, Lol. We’re practically neighbors. Lol.

The coffee grunge mix recipe... what is it?

Hi! I hadnt made these with foam clay, until I seen your video...I used a salt dough...but wanted to try the foam to see how it came out and...Ahhh, I dont know what happened but the foam cracked ALL over the place as it dried =( So bummed bc its such a waste of clay and I dont know why that happened. I conditioned the foam, Ive made many other things, donuts, fake fruit, etc....never had cracks like I did when I made the cinnamon rolls and I cant figure it out Not sure if you reply here, but if you have any ideas on why or how to save them when they crack like that, Id love to know rather than toss them! Thanks!

Hello. I’m from Panama City Florida. Ive never seen anyone add paint to the air dry clay before making the cinnamon rolls. The lady I normally watch just kneads her clay then makes the rolls and paints hers after they are dry. So this is another technique I have learned. The hank You:

I would actually recommend using Crayola’s Model Magic! It has been the best to use for these! (I found this out since recording this original video)

Quick question. I am allergic to cinnamon so can't use it for the grunge. Would nutmeg work?

Nutmeg is too light in color, ground cloves works great
