Cindy i found rather than using bowl,I put the sponge in a plastic bag,put the paint on my gloved hand so those sponge pieces don't fly out of the bowl.LOL This is a great video. So enjoy the hard work you do to help us all be creative.

Cindy!!! I'll never finish this theme if you keep on!!! 🥴😁😂 I think I'll make these as table centerpieces instead of mini pies on the tree. I love pumpkin pie and apple pie. I like the apple pie with the crumbs on top more than the lattice because of the texture you get when eating it with icecream. 🥧🍦I make both. It's very time consuming. Especially since I only like pumpkin pie made from fresh pumpkin. I LOVE CHRISTMAS !!!! Always have, Always will, regardless of how many family and friends come visit. And I think they still show up because my house changes theme every year. It's like coming to see a showroom display. 😂😂 ok. Time to get up and work on some waffle cookies to put in my icecream sundaes and Napoleon icecream sandwiches.

I really enjoyed watching the apple pie "bake"!!! I love the filling!!!! I am going to be challenged to make about 50 fake pies in the next couple of months and some of them I won't be able to use clay, so I drew some inspiration from this video.... going to try to use jumbo ric rac for my side crust and try to find some corded ribbon for the lattice, or even just thick ribbon... Wish me luck! LOL I am going to need it! Please keep "peeping", you do a great job!!! :)

Your pie turned out very nice. The silver farmhouse made these last year with the dollar tree sponge only she uses Coffee stain muslin instead of clay. For the crust I made 20 of them last year and gave as gifts. I also used scented potpourri oil in the scent of apple and spice. Placed a little mod podge on top of the crust and sprinkled with diamond dust for sugar affect.

This looks amazing! I want to make one. I love pies and love to bake real pies. My favorite is Dutch Apple Pie. I buy the frozen pie crusts that come with the pie tin. Then I make the crumble topping (butter, flour and brown sugar) and sprinkle on top before baking.

Hey Cindy I'm watching the video of you making the fake apple pie my DT didn't have the car sponge so I took off the mop sponge which is the same texture of the car sponge my question to u is instead of the UV resin which I do not have can I use the regular resin I love what u do ❤and love watching your channel

Hi! The only reason why I used the UV resin is because it cured right away. Not sure if the regular resin will get soaked into the sponge. You can also try several coats of glossy mod podge letting each layer dry in between. Thank you! ;)

Wonderful, Realistic faux Apple Pie. I would also like to see a video of a faux Cherry Pie. I wonder how I could add a scented oil to it? I'm afraid if I add it to the sponges, it would dry us too fast and loose it's scent. Thank You Cindy! Great Job! "Smiles" Connie

Hi hopefully you can help me out please. I bought boHs clay . I have made a few fake bakes . I work with the clay so it gets soft . But when I when I am almost done with my project it reacts like it looks like it cracks or something. I am new to fake baking. I don’t know what I am doing wrong.please help me .

You said pumpkin pie but it says apple pie.. getting your words twisted again I love this pie I’ve made several I’m gonna make a couple more this week but peach.. and I’m going to add the fragrance like I did to all my other ones.. my apple pie I made has apple essential oils so it smells good if you stick it on your stove after you’re done cooking
