It is actually interesting cuz I have never struggled with lack of confidence in language learning. I guess it is because the first language I learned as an adult, was learned under the best conditions. I had classes everyday. I was living in the country itself and my only task was to learn the language.

When I first started talking to natives I racked my brain trying to think of what to say and I spoke terribly. It was humiliating. I stopped trying to talk to natives and I kept learning. Later, when I knew more Spanish talking to natives was fun.

Also anxiety in talking stems from trauma in the past. But you can question these emotional mental patterns of anxiety
