#DesignYourLife #AchieveGoals #30FOR30CHALLENGE
Things and new opportunities. So in this video, I want to show you how to design your life in this one video. Okay? Maybe if you're a little unmotivated or you don't know what the next step should be, or you're dissatisfied with your job or current situation and you're like, it's coming into 2020 at this time I really want to do something different. This video will show you how and give you some awesome next steps that you can take action on immediately after this video. This is Clark with fuse and settle Saturday strategy.
It's hard when you're in the weeds. Totally zoom out and see the whole garden. All right? It's hard when you're just in the thick of life that the days, the really long, they can feel really long, right? But the years go by super fast. I mean, do you remember what you were doing this time last year? How is it already a year? It's coming up on 2020 I'm looking back on 2019 like, Oh my God, I can't believe 12 months went by like that. So this is to make sure that life doesn't get away from you, that you maximize the years, even though the days feel really long time speeds up. You ever notice that, that as you get older, the percentage of a month actually shrinks in your life? How's that for a mind blower and one minute into the video, right? Like when you're a kid, remember summer break felt like forever, right?
You'd go on summer vacation, you have three months and it was like you're ready for school to start again cause you were so bored. But now summer goes by three months. I mean I can literally remember what I was doing three months, it felt like last week. So that's what happens when we get older. And if you don't design your life, you don't do what I'm showing you in this video. Like most people too, we're going to go over on autopilot, okay? This is what I call sleep. Walking through life, how most people operate. They don't do this stuff. So you're already headed ahead. If you're watching videos like this, you're already ahead. You're already on the path. And hopefully this video catapults you to the next level and then you can start taking action on these three things that you absolutely need. If you want to design your ideal life, what is sleepwalking through life?
This is how I define it. Let's go back to when you were a kid. Can I remember? Summers along days are short. You start to learn up until about probably 25 20 years old, right? Go to school, get educated until you're 25 then you enter the workforce cause you got to pay the bills, right? You retire at 65 and that's like a carrot hanging at the end of your life. Then you can sit back and the good old days are yet to come. Education for 25 years, worked for the next 40 and then retire for the next 20 don't you feel like there's an alternative path? You've probably seen people online making passive income. You've seen people build something that they're really passionate about and you're like, that looks a lot better than this right here cause you don't want to retire when you're 65 one day time is running out time speeding up.
This is so important because this is how you up. Don't sleep. Walk through life. Cause if you run on autopilot, if you run on how other people are telling you, your parents, society, your teachers, your coworkers, and you differentiate yourself from this path, people start to think you're crazy but you're not. You got to design your life. Otherwise, if you're not designing your life, this is what happens. You just get handed this. If you're going to spend 40 years of your life really, truly working hard, you might as well do it for something you love. You might as well do it for something that you create and that will do it for something that helps people that you're in charge. You're in the driver's seat of right. The three things you need to differentiate. Differentiate yourself from this and step into a new identity, a new path.
The first one, you need a clear vision. Isn't that funny? We're coming up on 2020 because 2020 vision. Right? Does that make sense? I think that's kind of cool. Now, a lot of people, when they design their life, they make the mistake, okay, what is my life purpose? What am I going to be doing for the next 40...

This is so inspiring! I stepped out of the society bubble when I was 24 years old. I decided to go for my dreams no matter what it took me. Nobody believed I was going to make it...but I believed in myself. Now I am 26 and I am graduating from my dream career (fashion designer) no loans since I did work hard to pay off my school 😊 Now I can run my own business with my own clothing brand for the rest of my life! I will probably never retired ❤ I am looling forward for more goals and designed visions as I get older. - great video! Thanks for it.

I've tried something like this but the last time I did, the pressure involved sent me into a scary depression where I thought about doing...really bad things to myself. My logic was "well in order to do all these things, I need to BE someone else, and since I can't turn into someone else, I'd have a better chance at being reincarnated (people who deal with the stuff that I deal with tend to believe quite a bit in reincarnation)." You can probably tell where the rest of this is going. Truth be told, "sleepwalking" through life nearly saved it when I was younger...almost like I freed myself by phoning in life, strange as that sounds. I'd MUCH rather stay in the moment and think 5 weeks or months ahead than 5 years, the stress of creating a world for myself so vivid that it is fantastical DOES NOT gel well with me. However, for most others it probably works. I know that it doesn't for me :(

This is because you have mental limitations about who you are. No you don't need to be someone else to do things that you weren't doing before. You are a conscious human being capable of making decisions and taking actions because that is what our human brain is for. You can do it as YOU. You are not so special & so defective that you alone are incapable of changing your life but everybody else is capable. If so many people can do it so why not you? You think you are really not like the others? We are all the same species. People who have had it worse than you have made it out of their situation so why not you? You are just refusing yourself the possibility because you are blocked by bad self-esteem (because you are judging yourself). But human brains can be rewired & our patterns of behaviour can be altered. With enough dedication & time you can gain the motivation & self-esteem needed to take control of your life. You just have to decide that you don't want to live like this anymore. & Btw I personally have had suicidal depression with total executive dysfunctioning for 4 years so I'm not speaking out of my ass, I used to hate myself so much that I was incapable of even showering or brushing my teeth like I was so depressed that I was just lying in my bed for months not doing anything, but I don't even remember that anymore. Currently I love my life & I have my life in order cause I've worked for it & there are hundreds of thousands of people who have done the same thing! So yeah please stop judging yourself so hard & punishing yourself mentally & hating yourself. Just do what you have to do if you really want it & don't have second thoughts about it.

I can relate. These five year visions can seem like an unattainable goal. Like being told to write a 10000 page essay and you only figured out the headline. 10000 blank pages staring at you. I don't think it's always healthy to look at it as five years of hard planned work to reach the endgame. Don't break down big visions to detailed actions. That can lead to pages full of scary stuff to do. Skip the one year goal setting. Just take small steps here and there that lead in the general direction. Think headlights. Write down your wins. Nobody wins all the time, but there will be wins. Maybe some time in the future you will take account and find that you've writen 10000 pages. Maybe just 5000 pages. That's okay. Still 5000 f ing pages more than 0.

2 degrees represents the little changes that is necessary to stay on course for you to achieve your goals. whenever you set out to do something in your life there is going to be unexpected things that happen, so you have to make little changes so you can stay on course. In the video Clark had used the analogy stating that when a boat is traveling from tourist destination it's going to set a course but along the way storms and waves are going to knock it off course so if they don't make a little to keep your boat pointed in the right direction it will never meet its intended destination.

Here's a question for you that probably doesn't get asked. Is there a natural limit to personal growth/development? I mean, in different areas of my life i feel I've pretty much achieved all I want in life. In terms of my health, I can run marathons and half marathons in the time that suits me. In terms of finances, I've paid off my mortgage and will achieve complete financial freedom pretty soon, too. In terms of my personal relationships, I have the intimacy and friendships I need and the time to maintain them. In terms of education, I've got a degree and dozens of other qualifications. In terms of my creativity as a writer, I've written over 100 books which include two novels and several books of poetry. I've even helped dozens of old people with dementia to write their life story books and publish them on Amazon for their friends and family around the world to read. In terms of social responsibility, I've set up a range of community events and groups ranging from an amateur dramatics society to a 4.5 athletics race at a local gala day and a youth club. In terms of a legacy, I invest in the stock market so I can set up my own scholarship fund to promote the values and principles of community education. Oh, yes and I'm nearly finished learning Spanish so i can speak with local people when I walk the Way of St. James in Spain. My point is that any outstanding goals i want to achieve basically involve me letting things like direct debits from my bank account continue uninterrupted and then just maintain the current habits and lifestyle I lead. The only things I can think of that I haven't done are learn to play a musical instrument or perhaps learn a proper dance like salsa or the tango. But I have done many other things like bungee jumping, parasailing and public speaking which seem just as interesting. So, is there really much else to do in life if you have your finances in order, have a high level of fitness, achieved many creative goals, volunteered in the community and have a plan for your legacy?

It would be unusual to have achieved as much as you describe without both a high level of self-awareness and extraordinary commitment. Given this, I imagine you've led a remarkably intentional life. So what's drawn you to watch a video with this title? Most of us know why we're here - but you? I'm not so sure. I want to share that your list of achievements, as it's stated, sounds rather devoid of meaning. That is, the experiences themselves sound clinical, empty, recited like a bucket list where one is merely checking boxes, rather than following one's heart. This is not a criticism - you're clearly accomplished and highly capable. I just wonder how well you know and like the person who's done these things? When I was young, I had a brilliant therapist. I recall her saying, "Whenever I have a client who's a runner, I always wonder, "What are they running from?" She was joking - but maybe not really. Have you considered turning within - rather than outside yourself - to see what life has left to offer? Consider finding a good therapist; someone who can lead you on a journey to explore your inner landscape - your forgotten past, repressed dreams, unspoken fears, unfulfilled desires. Whatever time and money it takes will, I think, be well-spent. And while it may not lead to any "list-worthy" achievement, it may lead to that most valuable of life's gifts - a loving relationship with yourself, and true self-knowledge. I wish you well on this most meaningful endeavour.

Most importantly I'd invent renewable energy sources so that we don't get attacked constantly by terrorists and we can keep them at bay! Stay safe my friends. Abundance of resources ahead if I become what I planned to become since my adversity!
