How to Describe HOT Weather in English! 🌞
As you learn English you'll want to know how to describe the weather. In this English lesson I'll help you learn how to describe hot weather in English. There are many types of weather, but it's hot here right now, so I thought this would be a great time to tell you about it. After all, talking about the weather is a form of small talk in English, so you'll want to master it!
There are many phrases for describing hot weather. Many of them are, believe or not, related to the kitchen. Cooking involves heat, so we've borrowed some words and phrases from the kitchen to talk about hot weather as well.
In this English lesson I'll be sure to teach phrases like, "It's a hot one!" and "It's like an oven out there!" and many more!
I think you'll enjoy this English lesson about describing hot weather!
⌛ Remember: Always watch the video three times. Twice today with English subtitles on, and once tomorrow with the English subtitles off. This will reinforce the English you have learned!

Boy, I’d love to move to Canada. Magnificent country.
I am amazed that you were able to keep smiling in this hot weather. I guess when you smile, you shine brighter than the sun! Thank you Mr. Bob, and regards to Mrs. Jen for her hard work. I hope the flower season will be more rewarding for you this year than ever. ☀️😎💐

Yeah I'm sure that's what it is. It must be the people who have been out in the sun too long and can't think straight! 😎🚜🌻
I'm Iranian and live in kerman province, which has deserts as well as beautiful natural sceneries. There's an area near kerman called Gandom Beryan and it's full of rocks. You really can cook eggs on bare rocks there because of its extreme temperature.
When I hear so many new terms, I always think of George Orwell's "1984" with its Newspeak. It will be much easier for students if you guys describe the weather like this: warm, unwarm, plus-warm, double-plus-warm, etc. 😎🌞 But you don't, and that is why I love English and still learn it. Thank you Bob! 👍

I tought English 12 years ago, just for a year. Then, I decided to tread the same path as my father and became a trucker. I cant really imagine my trip from Poland to Germany without Country 105, BBC, Australian Country Radio or Alaska Radio... English is my adventure which will last till my last days.

I remember a local frying an egg on the hood of a black car. And about sidewalks: if you can't stand it barefoot, remember: your dog is, so let him walk in the grass or give him shoes.

Dear Bob, I'm from Brazil. My hometown is very hot, but there is a city close to mine called Itaperuna hotter ! In summer the temperature reaches 44° C and the Thermal sensation is above 50° C !!! It's not an exaggeration to say that there you can really fry an egg on the sidewalk - this experiment was performed successfully several times !!! ☀️🔥🍳

Unfortunately we live the same weather here in my country , and it takes five months long every year , today temperature is 33 to 34 degree , and it's a burning hot day with a lot of humidity , and I usually put a kind of umbrella on my car steering wheel so that I can touch it comfortably , but you could say we are used to that weather , anyways Mr Bob thank you so much , that was a useful lesson and wonderful View 😊♥️👍 have a great time

Sometimes people here in Canada have a special thing they put in the windshield of their car when they park so that it doesn't get too hot inside. It's probably similar to what you use. I should get something like that! 😎🚜🌻
