Absolutely correct! No need to wait until the flashing red lights. If your coffee starts inexplicably tasting funky - clean it!

Hello Nespresso Angel! 😎 I used your video along with the (hardcopy) manual that came with my machine, and your video was a nice visual match to the instructions, and made me feel more confident. The descaling was a complete success. I did not wait until the machine gave a warning light, I just saw that the crema wasn't as frothy as it used to be, and got to thinking it was time to descale. Today, the crema was a mile high again! I completely agree with you that it's a good idea to have the descale kit on hand, and to just buy one with a coffee pod purchase. I am one of the lucky people who lives near a Nespresso Boutique, and I paid $8.00 USD for it. Thank you so much for your nice video, it was like having a friend with me to descale my machine. When you said "Mama needs an ice coffee" I laughed out loud, that was so cute! 😍🥰

All coffee machines need descaling! Keurig and drip machines too! Don’t give up on it! The coffee is worth it 😄

It’s not to strong I think that pod is yummy. So I usually add ice, then I add regular milk after my favorite pod is brewed. I also make a cold salt foam to add to my coffee. I take cool whip in a bowl and add a tiny bit of milk and mix. Then add salt. Salt is key! Then mix till you have a light pouring consistency. Then foam on top. It’s heaven! Try it and let me know

It’s mainly about your preference. If you prefer both coffee and espresso then vertuo is the way to go. Original line is all espresso so if that’s what you mainly like then that one is better

This is my first time descaling! I was scared of leftover solution being in my machine, so I did a rinsing cycle a second time😭😂 My coffee tastes a little different! Idk if it’s just in my head or if this is normal lol

i got mine back in march 2021 and yesterday the descaling light came on saying i need to descale it so i had to order some descale solution because i did not have 😆

You can always gently wipe it with a warm cloth

I think they might be different depending on machine. If you KZread search your machine I’m positive you’ll find the corresponding instructions 🤗

How many times does it rinse before you get that green and red flash indicating rinse is done?

You can re-use the spent solution 2-3 times, you could use it for your second machine, then use it for your kettle.... then you could possibly put it into a bottle and use it again for your shower head. make it do double ( or treble) duty.

I have a video for that too! If I’m not mistaken it’s pressing the top button three times to start a cleaning mode

If you followed the steps in the video and still gives you that issue I would recommend calling their customer service

I descaled my machine until the orange light went away (took about 2 full tanks of water) but my coffee tastes weird! Idk what to do. Do you have a video on that? Or any tips?

I don’t have a solution for that since I’ve never had that problem, I would recommend calling nespresso customer service to trouble shoot
