Do not wait 7 seconds. It takes longer. Just hold the button down until it cycles through turning off and then several seconds later starts to blink.

When using their descale, there is not much solution in the tank. Do you need to add water - your tank had 3 times for than mine. I am 4 minutes into this, with some residual vinegar in the tank. Do you know how long it should take to descale? The light still blinks indicating it may not be finished. Thank you

I’ve been keeping it locked and hold the button down for like 7 sec and hit it again and it seems like it starts to descale then I hit it like a million times and full and dump over and over it’s a pain thanks know i know

My nespresso will not make coffee after descaling. It seems to be messed up. How do I get it back to making coffee

Your video was much easier to follow but I was also not successful descaling my nespresso. I don't get it. The descaler+water would just not cycle through.

Actually takes longer than 7 seconds, the light turned off but if you continu to hold for a few seconds longer it then blinks 😉

I did everything you said to do but, my machine makes a noise like the water is dripping down, but nothing happens

i can enter in descaling mode but after that i cant exiting still have 3 blinking light

Same. Try holding longer. The light will go off, keep holding, and mine started blinking.

Can you out tap water into this?

I got the Nespresso liquid Descaling solution, does it need to be mix with water or does it go in the tank as is without additional water

Of course I would just use 50-50, but I’ve heard rumors that it may damage the machine. Not sure if that’s true or not.

Nobody is going to be able to fix your machine in the YT comments, there’s clearly something wrong with it. Try contacting Nespresso support

This still doesn’t work for me, it doesn’t flash. Clearly I can simply do this. It’s very frustrating!!

The Nespresso engineers who designed this descaling process should be fired. Or whoever came up with this series of steps. They should hire and put in charge a UX Designer or a Service Designer to simplify the experience of customers. Thanks for the video!

This instruction doesn’t clarify that you need to keep adding water to the water canister until the Des along process ends- I had to refill it 3-4 times. Keep a container of water next to the machine and as it gets low add water to the Nespresso canister. It needs water added until the orange light stops blinking and the process is done. It lasts 10 min- so imagine how much water it needs before it’s done.

Actually you just have to add .8 liters of water to the descaling solution. When your tank is empty that lets the machine know that the process is complete.

Who has time to deal with this , spent half an hour looking for solutions on flashing light or try to get it out of the descaling mode , realizing that until it finished you cannot reset it? Great coffee but crap instructions
