How To Deliver Brand Style Guides

After a few good years of collaboration, our relationship with Corebook (and this deal) has ended.
What hasn't ended, though, is the need for a thorough and quality style guide for every brand identity engagement. And we've got you covered there. The Style Guide kit is everything you need to create brand styleguides for your clients - we've even done the writing for you.
Click here to get your copy today:
thefutur.com/course/brand-sty...
What's the best way to send style guides to your clients? How do you get your clients to ACTUALLY use style guides?
The most common method right now, and the method that I've used for years is to simply design the style guide in a program like InDesign or Illustrator. -- Maybe even use the template from the Style Guide kit to get things rolling. Then export a PDF and then you'd send this PDF along with all of the logo files over to the client using something like Dropbox or Google Drive.
What if I told you there's a better way to do things? A way to deliver a style guide that's super easy for you as a designer to create, but also really easy as a client to use?
I think that this is where creating a web-based brand style guide really shines.

This was amazing. I would love to see a scaled-down version for the freelance/small business. It's a little out of touch for most clients I work with when you add up the costs, particularly after hand-off to the client, but the concept and bells and whistles are amazing.

So this is like $100 usd to sign up just to create on it, after 3 months you pay $70usd monthly at which point by the way you cant PUBLISH ANY. In a years time you would have paid $800USD ALREADY, just to create on it. (Much better off just doing the upfront cost at that point for a lifetime deal) But.. the ABSOLUTE worst part is If you want to publish even ONE its another $100usd a month for a brand account or make your clients do that instead. At which point they're probably thinking, now you're making me sign up and pay to access my brand guideline.... for $100 EVERY MONTH?? I don't think ANY client would be happy about this. Am.. I missing something here...? Like I was expecting a decent cost of course, but the fact that we have to make the clients pay monthly fees on top for their guideline.. This is beyond messed up. They could make it a one time charge for each brand guideline you need published, that way you just up your fee a tiny bit to your client to make up for that.

I tried their product (spent 99 through the deal here) and got 3 months subscription thinking there’s a way to pay extra prize for a one-time thing-nope there isn’t. Either you as an agency shoulders the cost or the brand owner will. Product itself is alright, but 1,188 usd a year my start-up client isn’t at that caliber.
