    My banding wheel is almost the same as yours. I bought mine from the Fulham pottery in England back in the 1980s when I did an evening class in hand building pottery.

    Synthetic iron oxide is basically em purities have been removed. Cheers

    I presume you're using your milky glaze on top these oxides... what if you put then previous glazying? Manganese oxide, what result (it rather metallize if so golden hues). Thanks for your videos!

    So what pigments are good for oxygenated (electric) firing at cone 6. Red iron goes purple in our studio.

    What do you use the bottle of Chimney Rust for? Is it your source of iron oxide?

    Hi, yes you've got it right. A source of natural iron oxide, there was a video some time back. I've been trying his idea of a kiln conversion, cheers
