You're welcome! I learned that lesson the hard way with running airbrush color on 50 cookies! I had to redo them all...and didn't make that mistake again. But I will say, I'm much more careful about how much color I add to the cookie surface. Adding less, also helps!

I could watch these all day. How far in advanced should you bake the cookies before decorating? How long do you let the icing set? Are the cookies rock hard when you bite into them or are they soft?

How beautiful! Is your icing anything special, it has a sheen to it?

I just found your channel and your cookies are AWESOME!! I went to my first cookie decorating class a couple of nights ago and I am addicted. Just made these this week and the Santas turned out awesome! But the elf sweaters and hats with the red dots really bled. I followed the steps here and they looked great the first day but the longer they dried, the worse they blended. Any tips to keep that from happening? Does icing consistency change that at all? I'm not sure where I went wrong.

Love all your decorated cookies.. but what I’m curious about; is why some cookie decorators only use tipless bags and one flood consistency icing vs. both tipped and tipless bags and one flood icing and one piping type icing like you do?

It's a personal preference. I like using tips for the piping icing because it gives me consistent, predictable results. I also love the results of using 2 icing consistencies.

How do you keep your icing from separating while you are waiting for the areas to dry? Every time i let the cookies dry over night the icing separates in the piping bag.

Store in the fridge to reduce separation. Then knead your bags to get the icing reincorporated!

I agree about the decapitated heads I don't like them and the family knows not to get them for me. We have a tradition of buying one Christmas ornament for each other's tree at Christmas, I won't buy a decapitated head for them, it just seems creepy to me. Do you think I have a problem with decapitated heads? Well, I don't I decorate with lots of decapitated heads for Halloween where they belong. I just bought this set so thank you and have HAPPY HOLIDAYS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR.

HAHAHAHAHA. This made me laugh. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with cute faces, but you can't mix a face with a full body, in my humble opinion. Plus, it is nice to change it up now and then :) This just give me a giggle!

I would like to buy some parts... but i didn't get because i'm from sao Paulo, Brazil... that's so sad...
