I was dating a dancer being a dancer myself. During the relationship, he did not really enjoy hanging out with me at events or dance festivals, even though we both gave each lots of freedom. Since I broke up with him two months ago, he turned into that sweet guy who appears everywhere I go and stares at me all evening trying to dance with me. I'm being polite, but maintain my distance now to protect my energy. No anger, no conversations. Nothing. Just be superficial and polite.

I was smiling the whole video, you are absolutely right! I would maybe add, that it is ok to set boundaries and stick to them. I am usually the one ignoring my exes, but that is because if I don't - we start talking, then we start dancing, then the sparks are flying and who ends up hurt? Me 😅 so my policy is to tell them over text or in person that I would prefer to keep my distance and stop talking and dancing, and they are usually ok with it. And when they do talk to me or ask me to dance, I keep it polite, short and the answer is no. But I feel I am able to do those things, because we had a real connection, and we all know that there were some feelings hurt, so it goes back to being picky who we date. Also, a tip for beginners...If you are new to the dance scene and this experienced, good looking, smooth talking guy is showing interest...run 😂 or don't run, but be aware that there is a big chance you are dealing with a player 😇 and whatever happens - do not gossip!!

Absolutely LOVE your reaction at 5:17! 😄 Get back to the enjoyment, ride the pain and move on. Some people just aren't for you, and that's ok.

There are certain cities with huge dance scenes, and as a result you will be surprised how easy it is to not see someone! 😜 But seriously, I think it comes down to being civil and mature. Because I actually disagree with the old "the poop where you eat" adage. It simply doesn't make any sense in your hobbies. It makes sense for work, because it is literally where or how you "eat"... But if you start applying this to hobbies, you will go nuts about where you are or who you meet.

Similar to one of your previous videos on dating on the scene- if ya sh*t where ya eat then it's difficult if things don't work out but then some non dancers don't really understand so it's a catch 22 and hard to know what to do 🙃 I'd be interested if you could do a video on tips for handling Congresses- e.g How to pace yourself so you don't get too tired, how many classes and moves are reasonable to hope to be able to remember etc please. Love ❤ xxx
