Regarding uf3+4 on hit as well as heat smash on block, you do have to hold the mixup. This is a universal mechanic with heat where you are too much in a disadvantage to do anything but block, and this is the same situation with characters like Lars, Ling, and Raven. Out in the open as mentioned in the context of the video, you absolutely *DO NOT* have to take that mixup if your opponent is using Jaguar Sprint out in the open. Hope this clarifies some things!

@@DaXpt007 Thanks, but if I bend down she kicks me up when her back is turned and if I stay standing she attacks me with low kicks. What I usually do is attack with df1 or push it away with uf3+4. Crounch grabs hit when she has stance duck?

Hi jesandy, could you maybe make a video on how to beat some of kings worst matchups/beat jabbers/spammers

since i play drag, would it be worth it to sub out the jab interrupt with something like df4? just to eliminate any hurtbox fuckery or the jab whiffing?

Yes! This was relating to the context of doing a raw jaguar sprint, but on hit from uf3+4 and on block with heat smash, you do have to hold the mixup. That being said, this is a universal thing with anyone who has a heat smash transition into stance like lars, ling, and raven. Hope this helps!

Is there any way to… play around heatsmashes in general? Its not even king specific, with every single character, i feel like i HAVE to respect/ disengage, if they are in heat. Its obviously meant tobe like that, so the player who is in heat can be aggressive/pressure. But it just feels… for a lack of a better term „cheap“ , in general. Even IF i call out a dragunov and walk that , he sprints away from me, so i cannot even get a juicy punish. What do you think? (I play raven occasionally, he can punish 80% of heat smashes with a launch, if he hard calls them out with an escape parry, but that is everything i found so far, did you find something?)
