I used to be that way and then I ran out of people in my life. I am trying to be more compassionate and empathetic, it seems to work in some scenarios. Not true for everyone. Be compassionate, set boundaries, give the benefit of doubt and if all fails, walk away by all means. Also, depends on the nature of relationship or meaning of the person in your life. Some people require your time while others do not.

@@cptnspr how much of your own life do you have to sacrifice before you reacn your limit and how much pain must you suffer in doing so . Compassion is a two way street , Yes dont go out of your way to hurt anyone , show the same respect you expect from others . If that fails walk away my freind . You owe it to yourself.

Yes. As a spiritual person i like to see them struggling with something inside. and I offered people help and love out of compassion. But i figured these people have their own inner battles. Some feel threated by other people by just being nice to them. So but the end of all i now decide to walk away but yes whenever they think are on the same page and ready put their energy then yes things can be worked. Walking away does not mean we hate those people, if we undsrstand those people have God inside them then understand that God who lives inside of me is the most important one for me in his creation and to save yourself from harsh people is your Dharam.

This video is incorrect. There's a solution to the problem you faced. One tiny, part of solution is "1. No jealousy", "2. No hatred" and "3. No fear" and not love. Love can form attachments. We are forming a greater relationship by doing "no jealousy" "no hatred" and "no fear". This video is very incorrect. For all human problems, for everyone there's one simple solution. You be faithful. And I promise you I will try to fix.

Thanks a lot for this. After losing my mom, I have just lost the family. Gurbani has made me so strong and I have realised that they were never my true family. It’s Waheguru. It’s been 2 years I haven’t had a good conversation with my brother. I tried everything and I think he tried too but we had way too different opinions and he became a controlling person so I had to break off the connection. I moved out and started a new life. It’s hard but Gurbani has helped me so much. It’s true sometimes you can’t break off with certain people but I had to. I used to suffer cuz my culture has taught brothers are there to only protect and care. I still love my brother but I have accepted Hukam of Guru and living a better peaceful life 🙏🏽😇

Sister, I am sorry to hear that there is someone just like me out there. My brother too acted indifferently after my mother’s death. Ultimately, I too, lost all my family. However, I held all the resentment and hatred inside for how I was treated by my brother and I never sought any help. Two years ago, I started listening to Sant Maskeen ji’s katha. It provided much positivity in my life. Although, this year I got diagnosed with breast cancer. No family member stood by my side. No one supported me through this hardship. And of course, my brother didn’t either. He never even called. Does it hurt? Yes, of course. But this is Waheguru’s hukam. I cannot change it. Hukam Likh Dukh Sukh Payeh.”

Very nice discourse. The dealings with people need a lot of deliberation from our side, from within. There needs to be acceptance to some extent from our side, which is big change from within. For this to happen, we need to take time to create space for ourselves.

Respect, love others as you love yourself, as you love God, forgive, we all are annoying in our own ways anyways. It is about changing our mindset how we treat other people. We are never superior to anyone, we are all equally created in the image of God. So if we see the other as a divine creation then we will treat the other in the perspective of a divine good.

I would say walk away after taking your full efforts and always stand for yourself .In that process you will emerge as more stronger person and there are chances that other person might be changed if not then is the last option to walk away where close relatives and colleagues are involved .Atleast it would give you sense of satisfaction that you have tried at least

OMG.. this showed up in my feed the day I so needed it. Wahe Guru's synchronicity is amazing 😍. Thank you for posting. Just to recap my interpretation of how I should be handling a con and liar who has been abusive over text: If I can't see guru in them already, then just walk away if possible. In this case maybe block this person. And when my mind keeps thinking about that person, then I need to not let that person be my meditation, and maybe remember to jap at that time instead. Please let me know if I have misinterpreted or missed any vital points. I feel like this is really going to help me. Thank you.

Good topic! We in general need to have open conversations about issues, difficult feelings, we cant just shut ourselves out even in toxic relationships ... Problem from my experience is people and families just dont want to hear out others they dont want to validate others feelings and just shut out ... hukam is also we been given family members for a reason ... we have to deal with them via souls so when when moving away from our blood relations isn't that also not following hukam 🙏 it's a hard knit to understand only waheguru can show the path ( this is not referring to violent relationships)
