How to Deal With Broken (Defective) Parts on Your Inline Skates.

Parts break. It’s just a part of skating. But how should you handle it when you suspect that the product was defective? Informing people of possible issues is one thing, but publicly dragging a company through the mud is not good for anyone.

I actually wrote to Roces in an instagram dm and got an answer right away. They told me to email a specific person on Roces and I got a brand new pair of liners sent to me in about 1 week! Very happy with their customer support there. Great video and great skating!

These videos are so rad! From not filming the homie spot, not blasting companies on social media, and skating flat; everything is so done so proper. Has been an inspiration for me to get back into blading at 34. Keep it up! Also: could have fooled me with those switch ups! front royale to alley-oop top star was sick!

Been skating for about 3 months and the other day I had to replace my wheels cause the old ones were too destroyed. It was then I realized my frame is apparently quite damaged and it made the wheels uneven. I skated regardless and quite irresponsibly. Turns out I had a hard slam as I one footed a narrow surface on the first day and yesterday I almost broke my elbow as it hyperextended in the same spot because of the unevenness. Not skating again until I fix my skates. Great video and excellent advice. Good vibes from Chile

Hey man you inspired me to get symetrics frames. I recently got a pair of plastics from adapt. I notice when I use their frame mounting bolts, the front toe bolt is long. I can feel the bolt pushing up through the plastic. Do you use the adapt frame mounting bolts, or a shorter one for the front? What mm length should that front one be? I also have THEM skates. Thanks man. Great video by the way.

If your soul plate cracked you probably had it cranked down uneven. Always start from the rear and slowly snug them all down back to front and go back and do a quarter turn at the end to lock it all down. I was getting foot pain due to one of the should being tightened down wrong.

I got Razors Genesys like 8 years ago and i tbh cant stand them they make squeaking noises and the boot feels stiff. They feel like space boots. Then I got new wheels and from that Inline Warehouse site and the wheels felt really hard and now they are slow, I had gotten the fastest bearings as well. It just feels like crap jumping in these skates cause of the stiff boot and hard wheels. Also I am a girl, well I am 31 now and so I had gotten size 6 in mens size and the skate feels and looks small and it is awkward. What is a better skate? If I ever get skates again I might get Rollerblade, I had those as a kid and it felt more like a shoe (Rollerblade Details) not a stiff space boot

I never skated any of the old TRS skates so I can’t really say. The new jacks appear to be almost the same skates. Again, I’m not sure though. I always enjoy any USD skate, and the m12 or the 909 are also good options.

I love my 909s but the "bridge" soulplate system is too soft so the treads brokes easily. Ive lost 3 bolts in the first month and even replacing the "bridges" ive lost another bolt so I just intalled some razors cult receptors and problem is solved. I just bought USD sway team IV from inline warehouse and they arrived with a broken wheel one of the front wheels doesn't spin right it's spins really slow and badly and I took it off and it's because the spacer doesn't fit right it's loose and it rattles around none of the other wheels are like that. I emailed inline warehouse and they told me it's not covered in the warranty and that I need to exchange the skates, so I just emailed USD so I'm hoping they can just send me a new wheel or spacer or whatever it needs to be.

A slightly looser fitting spacer shouldn't be an issue to be honest the tolerances are always a bit off. The worst is when they're a tiny bit too long and they grind, I find filing them down does the job in that instance.

Is it the stock wheels or aftermarket? I always upgrade wheels on skates. Stock wheels are fine to get you through, or if you don’t weigh much, but typically they won’t last. USD being the only notable exception in recent year. Would recommend anything poured by the AEND factory. (Undercover, konjure, sic, dead).
