EAT THE PAPER!! That’s a level of commitment a father should always provide to a son and a son should always take on! Beautiful jam and story!
Reading your story and listening to the track made me dance uncontrollably for the next half hour
This is the wildest channel! This song made me cry; I lost my dad last year. After he died, my cousin sent me a bunch of photos of them at nightclubs from back before I was born, tearing up the dance floor in a suit. He definitely was a hit at weddings.
Lost my dad a year before my wedding. Glad you ate the paper❤
Damn, I didn't know this thing could make full songs like that. Most people do boom bap type beats. This thing is like a daw in a box, but without getting too complicated.
Your dad and I, cut from the same cloth. At a music festival, had two DJ friends that were going to be playing on different stages at the same time. They started arguing about who’s going to have me dancing at their stage. It devolved into bribery, which I took as a compliment. In the end, I went to both. If there was ever a scenario where people were not dancing, I’d get it going. Not a very technical dancer either, just good vibes for everyone. 🕺
I like this groove. It has a feeling familiar of a place I have never stepped my foot too, a place I have never seen with my eyes, a place I could not describe, yet it’s a place I know of and everything that has ever happened their, and lived there in all of my days where I have never been born. Nice 👍

I remember the first time I did dmt too 😂
This may be the most interesting channel I’ve ever seen
Superb little jam with a compelling story. Love it.
I did not expect to cry like a bitch today. This was beautiful instant sub 👍🏾
I love all your K.O. II + S-1 tracks.
love is REAL
He told you the secret of life. This story is the definition of the joy of sadness, thanks for sharing!
damn, your dad was baddass. People that do silly things without caring for other's opinions are honestly pretty inspiring.
My dad always had to dance to Proud Mary at every family wedding. He was not a skilled dancer either but he always committed to it & it became expected by everyone else there. I totally get it. Great story and jam
can’t remember the last time I cried to a disco beat.
Loving these videos.
Love it
Came for the music, stayed for the story.
Nice one once again...
I'm sure this video was recommended to me because of the music and gear, but I'm glad I heard that story! Sounds like your dad really was at your wedding afterall.
Thank you for sharing this story, it was fantastic. Grat jam too, inspiring!
Just awesome and beautiful!😊
That sounds just beautiful!
this is so wholesome, I love it
Legit, one of the best stories I’ve ever read or heard
So cool! Carry on with the legacy! 🕺
What a beautiful story.
Great story, great song!
In all ways just lovely!
Aaannd I’m crying. Thank you for sharing.

I'M NOT CRYING YOU'RE CRYING
❤️
Freaking brilliant👏
Super !👍
Damn, this little Roland sounds FAT! Rad Jam 😎🤙
Just, thank you.
I'm not crying, you're crying!
Great on Deck 😉
Great story, great track!
hell yeah, great story!
that's actually one of the best videos i've ever seen
holy way to elevate a jam video. amazing.
bravo. well done.
Okay, I think the "text with your video" trend is a rather wholesome way to increase watch time!
Epic.
I didn’t expect to cry.
I had this track looping non-stop in my head today... Can you share more about your creative process - choice of instruments, inspiration etc. ?

@@ClarkeJaxtonMotorbike Thanks for the tips - especially where the bass comes from: the very long sustain got me confused about whether it was a bass, pads or some layering of both, especially with the shifting effects. I usually start with a bass line too, but I have yet to experiment with something that long - my go-to are short. Also, your lively addition of transient effects makes me want to play with the MPC's XYFX's beat repeat and tape stop ! Also, shaker for more dancier ? Hmmm - never thought about it... Sounds like it works. Technical bits aside, I just really enjoy this track !
Que bien suena. Juego con la roland
These have become my favorite thing - thank you 🫂 (and the S-1 is a lot more 🔥 than I realized!)
glad this was recommended to me
What a story!
"You need to eat the paper!!!" - Dad
I wish I could've seen your dad dancing.
This song slaps!🤚 Also, great story!
I need a little synth to go with my KO II… debating the S-1 or the Pro VS Mini.
Nice jam, but super story. Thanks for sharing.
😮😮🤩🤩👏👏👏👏
This made my eyes wet. Thank you. p.s.: Everyone was surprised that I chose my grampa to be my best man. ❤❤❤❤❤❤️❤️
subbbbb that was lovely
That made me cry a lot. wtf
How independent is the music from this coming from the koii vs the Roland? Which is dominant
Nice track! Is that S-1 multitimbral? Sounds like it's playing both the synth parts.
:)
Your dad sounded like a legend. You should be proud to share his genetic code. Now get out there and dance like a crazy bastard!
are the synths completely generated from the ep 133 ko ii?
Plot twist: it was blotting paper.
Please tell me there is video evidence!?
What cable is that that's on the Output on KOII ?

It's a stereo splitter going into my interface. I don't need the split here, but the ends of the splitter are 1/4" jacks which saves me having to dig around for an adapter.

@@ClarkeJaxtonMotorbike I see now, thanks! Do you play keys? Like have you tried a setup with KO + S1 + midi keyboard, how is the routing done, tips and quirks? Frankly speaking, I recently got my KO II and sincerely planning to get away from the PCs by starting a dewless production phase in my music making adventures, and given I have midi keyboards and have always been loving synth sounds and vibes, planning to get a "pocket" synth to start out with, like the one you have or the MicroMonsta 2 (still need to decide).

@@ClarkeJaxtonMotorbike I haven't yet had a chance to play around to much with KO II from yesterday but based on youtube videos I see people including you mostly enjoy using KO as midi controller, but I think for connecting my next tiny operator (AKAI mpk mini play) to it to be able to play keys with it, I will need to get a midi host, I don't see another option so far unfortunately, saying unfortunately because I wouldn't really like to add a third-party device in order to midi in into KO.

Please don’t ever tell me this story isn’t true
