I bought the Creaclip a few days ago. My hair is similar to yours, fine/thin hair but not thinner than the average person. I cut it after taking a shower and loved it, except it kept wanting to slip off the end of my hair. I ended up having to use the little blue one but it wasn’t curved so my cut ended up being straight, instead of curved. My suggestion is to sell a version of the white one, for thinner hair.

Here is the link: creaproducts.com/blogs/boom/cutting-your-own-thin-or-fine-hair Whenever the large white CreaClip slides off, the trick is to hold it with one hand pinched between your fingers. Cutting will still be easy, you simply cut with the other hand.
