Did this for first time a week ago and did it again today. First time was decent this time actually came out fresh. One thing I’ll say is invest in a 3 sided mirror like trust me. Also get urself a fade guide but only use it for the first 2 guildlines. After the first 2 it will just get in the way but for the first 2 it will be perfect. Bro I can have a fresh haircut 24/7 now it’s worth it.

What are the best clippers to use for this DIY process? I notice some clippers have the lever that clicks into a slot so it’s easier to nail the 1/3 2/3 thing, but some don’t. Any suggestions on brand and model?

I had a Gamma clipper and a Babyliss trimmer so I doing tried a high fade haircut myself. I still struggle and sometimes mess it. I kept fixing it worse.

Even if you’re doing a high fade start low to give yourself room to fade up.. Practice makes perfect dude 👍

@@AdamSaracen i got the same trimmer today the one you use. But it does not have alot of room to fade. The lever fully open is Just 1.2mm and close is 0.8 or 0.5mm.

That fade was hard tho fr

Using those grades but to get the .5 of any grade all you have to do is open the lever on the side 👍
