By the way great job on this video. It was always hard to understand how to create the crotch you made it much more understandable. One last question for clarity. So I will take the front crotch extension (in my case 3") add just add 3" to existing front crotch ext. to get back crotch measurement. (so in reality total for crotch ext for back piece will be 6). I think I understood that correctly?💙

Yes it is necessary because if you want to fold in the inner part to avoid the edge been removed

Hi, I've been watching your video's for a while. I just love the way you explain things. I'm in a pickle, I'm learning to roller skate but very afraid of falling. At my tender age, healing may take a while 😵, I'm not a spring chicken anymore if you catch my drift. I'm hoping you can show me/us how to create padded shorts, where I could shape and stuff foam in pants. Amazon has padded pants, unfortunately not in my size😥. I'm really anxious to get started, please help............

That extra 2 inches added to the back is an allowance, but if you want it the short bigger you can add about half an inch extra to the sides before cutting.
