You can add twice of the dart you are making use of. Just to be on a safe side, after joining together, then you can trim off the excess.

Hey and thanks for the video. How do we determine the size of the armhole dart, is it 1 inch for all?....For the sleeveless top, is it necessary to replace back the armhole on the chest line?

For that armhole dart, you can use between 1-2 inches. For sleeveless top you will need to also replace it to avoid shortage.

@Pamela Chuks subtract the under bust circumference from the bust circumference, what ever you get divide it by 2. In your case, yours is 2" after dividing. You can use half inch on the center panel, then 1&half inches on the side panel. You can also place the two inches on the side panel only. Also if after dividing, and you get more than 2", you can place one inch on the center panel and then remaining on the side panel. Hope it helps?

The back panel can be the normal back panel basic bodice with zipper allowance. Hope it helps??

@@ijeomafab thank you ma, well understood. My challenge is in making madam blouse, will the front panel and back panel be the same length? If full length for the front panel is 25 inches, will the back panel be also 25 inches, Will they align when joining the two? Thanks in anticipation.

@blessisang6663 most times no. Try to make the back panel 1inch shorter than the actual blouse length
