There are some really important things he's not explaining. I've watched a few of his videos. It's not because he doesn't want to share the info. He's making the shots, but there's a math to masse shots, for where to aim / hit the cue ball & you can do the shots he is doing differently, especially longer shots. He is doing exactly what he wants to do, but if you moved the blocking ball on him , he'd still make the shot. Masse is a great tool and takes a lot of time and practice to use effectively. I didn't use the word master, because I can't think of anything else that has more variables than a masse shot. Ball size, cloth, humidity, speed, your tip size and shape... Yes, this comes into play in all ways of playing, but masse is one of the most unreliable tools you can have, but there are many easy shots and he showed them. He did the masse after hitting the rail, that's a great one to learn. I've done jump shots off the bank / using the rail on the opposite side to jump over a ball. I ran out from the break one time down to the 8 and left the 8 ball hanging. A guy tapped his ball (played safe) and used his ball to block me and left me a straight in shot, but blocked by his ball. Kicking wasnt a great option because he had so many balls on the table. Cue ball was IDK 8 inches away from the rail at the other end and his ball was about 10. I hit the rail in the opposite direction of my 8 ball, jumped over his and put the 8 in. I did that another time and put my ball and the cue ball in. Busted a pitcher of beer behind me practicing lol

First off if your using a hard top it won't work as well you need a soft tip so that it can create more spin second 12.5 is the ideal size for masse because you have to put alot of stress on the stick so smaller sizes have a chance to shatter also it's recommended to use a carbon fiber shaft. Hope this helps wish I had more info but I'm still learning myself.

Perfectly, evenly rounded. Your game can’t improve without a consistent, straight cue. The ones down the pub always affect your shot’s trajectory. With the slower shots its mostly okay, but the faster ones it throws off.

@@eddieruddy3843 First of all, this is a video and you can't ask live questions. Live or video, you always want to explain what and WHY you're doing what you are when teaching and after it's seen you DO want to go over it. The kid is a good player. I think he should be talking more, because he's missing some crucial information. I left a AA 1st place team to be a captain for a team of people from work that had somewhere between 50 and 100 hours of pool in their life, but there was a catch. All 4 had to meet me on 2 off nights to practice & no matter how weird my lessons were, they had to follow them. In 3 months I took people that knew nothing about pool, got 2 of them running tables and we ended up taking 1st place the first and second season. If you want to get better at ANYTHING start teaching people, because everyone learns differently and will have stronger and weaker skills and this teaches you to think different;y and you will become a much better player. To just watch someone VS someone explaining things PROPERLY to help u learn makes a huge difference. If you don't know why and how I'm doing what I'm doing, it's gonna take you forever to learn. One of the most FOS words you'll ever hear is "Those who can't do teach" Trust me, I learned a ton from these people that knew nothing, because I never would have thought of all the different ways to get the cue ball where I wanted it, because this guy couldn't draw, but the other guy could and so on. I have trained over 600 people in many different things and when I taught people pool, they got skills in 3 months that u don't see people have in 3 years and I took MVP 5 years in a row. I was mostly self taught by one book "the 99 critical shots" which I've never seen a better book yet and one video I think by someone named Burnes. I went to work and from there I played pool at least 4 hours a day and for 3 months I never played anyone. I took 1 ball, the cue ball and a piece of paper and set up different shots with the attempt to land the cue ball on the paper. Best thing I ever did
