What exactly does steamer do besides softens the brim? Does it make the curve stay permanently or is it just to soften up the brim?

Can the steam fix uneven curves ? My interstellar jelly came in today and one side of the brim is higher than the other

What’s your head size? Because mine is around 23 inches and I’m in between a 7 1/4 and 7 3/8 and I like to curve my brim. Do you think I should opt with the smaller or larger size?

If you curve it, I recommend the smaller size out of the two options
