Practice !!! Keep on practising make sure the bottom comes out in between the curling irons irons. And twist it around twice beak wards to get it, go down slow and start with small pieces as well

Vixen, you just solved one of the greatest hair mysteries for me. I've been trying to get smooth curls for years (since I've somehow lost my ability to use a curling iron). I have naturally curly hair, but with this I'm able to get the smooth and neat look about them. Jordan Long there would not be a difference. It will get stuck as always cause the slower you pull, the more it will get stuck or. And water will burn it. Heat protection will do the same thing as water. It will always get stuck.

my hair used to he the same way. it wouldnt work witha straightener or an actual curling iron. but try using a curling wand, without the clip. it works on my hair and like i said, my hair was the same way before (:

Omg thank u so much! I have been trying to curl my hair with a straightener for like 2 yes. Because if I use a curling iron the curls just don't stay & someone did my hair once with a straightener & they stayed and they looked awesome but I just could not do it myself. I've watched so many videos and I've been really trying to practice for like 2 weeks now and until I watched your video and you did it the way that you're doing it I finally was able to do it so thank you so much!

This absolutely terrifies me. I have naturally curly hair but sometimes I want tighter curls so I think about learning how to do curls this way and I immediately think no-no-no. I hate using heat on my hair so I rarely do, but even when I do I could NOT hold the irons on for that long! Plus my hair is so long is tangles around the iron anyway and I have a mad moment of trying to untangle it without burning my hair off. I think I'll stop trying now...

Go faster than what she did. She is killing her hair. Surprised she has hair, for doing it so slow. And it doesn't need to be high heat and don't squeeze the flat iron while you slide your hair through it. Just let it glide through. And instead of flipping it twice flip it 1 and a half times. Works awesomely for me that way.

keep at it. it takes me a while every time mainly bc of parting my hair becomes difficult I end up missing pieces and don't know what to do with it

heat protector helps so you won't burn your hair as much and if you don't use it you'll probably just get more split ends then if you do use it
