I was 14 and in high school when I first saw that video and tried to convince my mom to buy me a straightener but she never did lol I just had my curling wand. I loved your videos back then and still do brings back good memories lol. Now I'm 24 and love having you back

Tried first time curls on my hair by myself after watching this and pheeww what an amazing result 😻😻😻😻 and the best part is I was watching this video at midnight and I couldn’t stop my self doing it. It was that amazing 🤩

Any idea why doing this straightens my hair? lol I have the technique doen pat, but for some reason my hair responds to the smoothing power of the iron and just makes it flat and smooth with no curl in sight! A bit of a wave that is mostly to my desperate twisting motion directly adter releasing it though! Sigh. I would love to be able to get the smooth curls this method promises to provide but it seems to be either curling iron for curls, or straightener for straight hair :(

Your first flat iron curl video was the one I learned by. Thank you! That technique is my go to when I'm in a hurry. I can do it faster than a wand. Also comes in handy when going on vacation and only having to bring one tool. 😊

Which brand is your straightener

I don't understand the part about towards your face and away from your face? You move the straightener parallel to your face from forehead to chin downwards. What exactly is the reference point you use for towards and away?
