Definitely appreciate this video because I was making the mistake of using TOO BIG OF AREAS SO I WASNT GETTING THE TIGHT , FULL AFFECT AND once I saw video where u showed the left side of head with bigger area I knew that was what I was doing wrong plus now I know how to hold it depending on what kind of curl. Thanks a bunch I was seeking a video that would teach me what I was doing wrong.

Hi Linwood, love your videos they are so educational. I have a question for ya. What temperature do you recommend for relaxed and color treated hair when using a ceramic and titanium irons? I'm currently using 280 or 290 with my ceramic irons.

That temperature range should be just fine. I always tell my clients to curl at the lowest temperature that their hair will curl at. That way I don’t have to worry about them burning their hair off. 😊👍🏽

I used to be able to do this with my old flat iron can’t seem to manage it my new iron. Maybe the flat iron is too big

I definitely prefer curling with a 1 inch or less in terms of iron size. I LOVE my half inch iron, it’s my favorite tool.

Slight changes in iron directions can make a world of difference, I do at least 3 other curling techniques depending on the look I’m going for. 😊👍🏽

I wanna go to hair school so bad. I love hair so much. All I wanna do is learn about hair, but I work in property management. You're a great teacher but I think I'm just not meant to get this lol. I've watched a lot of videos trying to figure this out and yours was the easiest to follow with the clearest instructions but I just am hopeless lol. The hair is crimping but not curling. I know I'm doing something really, really wrong but I don't know what :( Regardless, thank you so much for sharing your time and talent and I am sure you helped a bunch of people!
