One tip he didn't show in this video is that if u don't put enough weight in ur front foot you will do a lazy grind to fix it just put more weight on your front rather then your back or middle

This is a great tutorial but please let me add one tip that as soon as I applied instantly had the trick. Keep your front shoulder closed. It will keep you locked in. If you open your shoulders you will fall out. If it helps think of it as the same as a nose slide but with that front shoulder closed in. Parallel with the rail not your board.

One good way to learn this move is to start off on just a nice little slick curb and that way you don't even have to ollie. You can just step onto the little curb in the same basic way as a noseslide only you make sure the front truck slips on to the top as well. Of course I never really tried to master this move down by any means as while it's actually pretty easy,I just prefer 5-0's,Salads and last but not least,Suski grinds. I actually learned the Susuki grind by accident before I even knew that it had it's own name as a trick and just thought that it was just another variant of the Salad grind, which is physically true to a certain degree, but Salads are defined as being angled the same as a feeble, only that you're still leaning back and keeping the front trucks up while the Suski is basically angled the same way outward as a Smith grind, only you're still keeping the front trucks up in the air. Suski and Feeble grinds are nothing more than tweeked out 5-0 grinds, but I now naturally just do a Suski anytime I just try a 5-0 most the time anymore, which is fine because I like the crooked angle look better anyway. I've still never even done a Nose grind even once in my life by accident, unlike the Crooked grind, which when I was skating was referred to as a K grind as in Krooked grind. Still K grinds do tend to be fun if you nail them down just right, but I could never master them on a consistent repeated basis.
