Just wanted to say how much I like the fact that you put the instructions for the whole row that is being stitched at the bottom. It makes it so much easier to follow along. Thanks for the great tutorial!

I'm making this now. I can't wait to see how this turns out. I love sitting down at night after the house gets quiet to binge watch a little TV and catch up on some me time crocheting worries and stresses I to something beautiful to help me heal as well as making beautiful things to give to loved ones.

I saw you had updated the video so I looked. Then I came back to watch this. Yes, a larger sample is helpful, but it the texture/pattern of the stitchwork is easier to see. Nice, thanks 😊

I just found you 😊. Like how you show stitches in your pattern. I am 83 and showing how to do stitches makes it easier then reading a pattern. Helps to understand how to read a pattern. I have added you to my phone . Thank you I will be doing this pattern. I have the perfect yarn.

I have made this wavy shell pattern, in alternating 3 colors. It's very striking and looks way more difficult than it really is. LOVE LOVE LOVE

I had to unravel after a few rows because I decided I wanted it wider and I tried doing back loop only on the single crochet only rows and it really made the arch design pop more. On your yarn the arch is super defined whereas on my cotton it was harder to see so when I switched to back loop only it looked a lot cooler. Can depend on the yarn and personal preference tho. Super cool stitch

You're the Best! I Love how you have the written explanation below your video tutorial, right there on the screen!!! I have been going through KZread trying to learn new stitch patterns and some have the written instructions in the description section which is very helpful for making items again without having to watch the video tutorials which are also invaluable for clarity, but many don't have written instructions at all and I have to go along with the video and write them out myself.. Which is a pain. So Thank You, Thank You! You're the only one who I've found does this. This pattern, by the way IS gorgeous. Look forward to seeing what else you have, and hope you've got lots! Have a great Thanksgiving. I give you My thanks!😊🦃😘

Thanks for sharing this stitch it's lovely But What about a stitch in the chain for the other rows? You only stitched into one row out of the 4... Are we supposed to do all rows or only she'll rows (rows that end with the shell? I would like to do a throw in this stitch but don't want to have to "frog it" due to uneven stitches?

How do you avoid those holes between the skip 3’s and DC? I’m getting these gaping holes which are starting to look more like a lace pattern than a wave. Your work with the rose color is very neat and and I can’t see any holes in between just a slight one where the 7dcs are crocheted into. I’m using a 5.5 hook with Aran yarn could it be the size of my hook? I didn’t have a 5.25 and can’t get that size anywhere

Im going to make a suggestion if you want us to be able to make what you are showing us, could you maybe do more then the bare minimum, so we can actually see it in bigger format. if you do something in groups of 7, only showing 7, is hard to grasp your concept, maybe do stitches... 21 PLEASE

Boy you got that right. It the middle of Nov. 2019 and the written pattern not any where to be found that was suppose to be in print last April. And we are not the only ones that can't find this written pattern or figure that video out with written directions that are different from what the directions are wrote on the bottom of the screen. I spent a hour and half hand writing the directions and double checking against the video. Twice. I said twice. But others can't get too crazy into a couple repeat patterns. Or do another video correcting the mistakes in the video done that been pointed out. My time and other people time is valuable too.

@@janafarmer9922it’s unfortunate that she didn’t do a couple of repeats of the pattern because if she did there wouldn’t be so many confused people. When she finishes on the 4DC If you wanted to repeat the pattern that 4DC would be a 7DC and then the pattern would repeat until you get to the last set of 7DC which would be a 4DC because that row would start and end with 4DC …it is very confusing and it would have helped if she had done another set of 14 stitches but if you just follow the written instructions on the screen you can’t go wrong

I created a full blanket pattern using this stitch. It's different color combination (rainbow design) but it's the exact same stitch. That info is linked here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZoOT1rOLeaupgZM.html

Kari Wilson well it would depend on what size of a baby blanket you’d want to make. Do you have an idea of size in mind?

@@kariwilson5766 I usually just chain an inch and count how many stitches since it will depend on the size hook as well as how tight or loose you crochet. Or you can even chain about 3 inches and count your stitches and divide by 3 just to get a better average.

Kari Wilson I would say make a small swatch and see how many shells you get per 4”. Then decide from that number how many you would need to get your desired blanket width. ☺️
