    Your tutorials are so easy to follow that the 30 year gap in my crochet experience has been quickly swept away. I am now using your tutorials as I expand into free crochet projects that combine some of these interesting stitches. I'm having a ball (so to speak)! Thank you!

    TheSupijas you are working in multiples of 6 so if you want a longer piece add more to your starting chain just be sure it's multiple of 6

    Sorry, sent before I was done....but I do a single crochet then skip two and that may put me in the center of two shells, then I do 5 doubles, skip two and that may land me somewhere that's NOT in the center of two shells - am I doing something wrong or did I go wrong at some place and it throw off the whole landing of where each single and double crotchets should consistently start? Someone please get back to me - thanks in advance!!!

    I find those bamboo hooks are hard to work with. they drag............especially with the yarn you are using... just sayin'

  • @HopefulHoney

    @HopefulHoney

    Actually, these aren't bamboo hooks :) They are made from a special tree in Australia, and since the wood is very smooth it does glide through yarn very easily.

  • @fern7407

    I wish you would show better how to turn to the second row, as when I go into the first stitch that only leaves me four dc stitches and therefore it doesn't work out right to skip two and sc in the middle of the five. Your directions for when you are going to the next row and not clear at all. guess I'm not made out for crochet

    @@bertiehardison2689 look, I tried this pattern and in my opinion it needs a little work. When I crochet something I don't want big holes in it!!!!

  • @bertiehardison2689

    Maybe using a different hook size or even a different yarn weight. I crocheted 3 blankets using this pattern, there were no holes except at the starting chain. Once a border was done, those holes were taken care of. I am sure this yarn artist hates you feel as if you wasted your money on this pattern. Wait, that’s right, it’s free. Excuse my bluntness but I was taught to be appreciative of a gift whether it was asked for or could be used. It does seem you are the only one complaining, it may just be you.
