It has always eluded me! But once you explained it, it seemed so easy to do! You're a great teacher of crochet 🧶!

I personally love how fast this was. It's super simple so I don't feel like it it needed for her to go super slow and super detailed. I love when it's quick and to the point. Leaves me more time for actual crocheting instead of spending forever watching a video.

The same way. Since you're offsetting the stitches, the overall height should always be consistent.

When did this become the Lemon Peel stitch. I have been crocheting for 50+ years and it has always been called the crochet seed stitch Why the need to rename a very old stitch?

eh does it matter? Probably because it looks more like a lemon peel than a seed.

I thought seed stitch alternates single crochet and chain, not DC and SC.

One of the things I love about crochet is that we end up with similar/same stitches that have different names. It can be super frustrating for beginners is the only downside. I’ve also seen the lemon peel stitch called the Seed stitch, and the Soft Moss pattern.
