FAQs??
-How many squares do I need for a baby blanket?
This can vary, it really can be however big or small you like, but i generally do 4x4 or 5x5.
This blog post might be useful: bit.ly/1UIobie
-How many chains shall I do for a *single/double/etc' blanket?
Again, this can vary. I would suggest that you do your chain and lay it down agains the bed you are wanting it for. It should be the same width. You should then ad a few more to make it a little wider.
This blog post might be useful: bit.ly/1UIobie
-How much yarn do I need?
Unfortunately, I will not be able to answer individuals questions about how much yarn you would used do to multiple factors affecting it. Such as, your tension, the size of hook and the yarn being used.
-What equipment do you use?

I am a beginner, and have watched 10 videos on the moss stitch. This is the only one that 'clicked' for me. I've just completed a simple dishcloth thanks to you!

I’ve made a couple of blankets in this st. It’s great with 3 different colours, dropping each at the end of a row and picking up the next, carry them up the side when not in use. Try with James Brett chunky, as it changes colour gradually so you get a lovely interplay of slowing changing colours. Any slowly changing colours are fun.

Hello Bella im disabled and love crocheting blankets for charity I have really enjoyed following u very easy to follow thanks again x
Don't know why I waited so long to try the Moss stitch. I love the simplicity of the stitch and it provides it's own border. A lot of thought goes into what stitch I use from color of yarn I'm using, who I'm making it for, how big it will be. Love it and it works up pretty quick. I'm using royal blue and yellow for a blanket going to a college freshman. Will be using this stitch again.
Wow you've explained this soo well! Every other tutorial has turned my brain to mush! Thank you soooo much can't wait to see the rest of you're tutorials 😘😘

Just found your channel and I love it! I really like that you point out the US differences, that you pause before each turn so we can work at our own pace without missing anything and lastly, I love your voice. It is so relaxing and I don't feel rushed or feel like I have to be such a perfectionist. I just have such a good time learning from you! Guess what everyone is getting for Christmas? Thank You!

This is a stitch I am wanting to learn. I started working on it this evening. I have been doing Sc, hdc for a while now. I love how you can change the look of a simple stitch with one chain and it looks like you spent hours on the project. I might have to go back a row on mine i think I started in the wrong spot on the second row.

I learnt your waffle stitch yesterday and am already itching to start this moss stitch. I am so glad am found your tutorials. Thank you.
I watched your tutorial, then watched it again while writing down the instructions. Sounds good yes? well I went wrong and ended up using the HDC instead of the DC but what a lovely mistake. LOL Don't know if that is a stitch or not but I'm adding it to my swatch book. It has a zig-zag effect and isn't so tight. Love your tutorials.
I really appreciate your tutorial; it's simple to understand and the stitch is really pretty!
Love this stitch. video was awesome. Already started a scarf. Planning on a matching hat.

I can usually follow along pretty well with all your tutorials, and I love that you explain the US and UK terms for each stitch used.. but For this stitch, I had to chain 2 to start each row. I tried just chaining 1 to turn and start, but my project, a lengthwise rectangle, kept getting bigger and smaller as I went along the length of the project..
Thank you.I am a dedicated follower now.💕

Great tutorial as always! I have one suggestion though. I think it would be helpful to make one row of sc into the chain, and then start the pattern. Starting the pattern into the chain, and leaving every other chain empty, doesn't give a very clean finish. A border of course would be helpful, but I don't always border my pieces. Some patterns to me look nicer without a border, and this is one of them.
@bellacococrochet
4 жыл бұрын
Thank you 😊 Yes I have seen this done with other patterns too and I think it comes down to personal preference - there is certainly no reason why you can’t begin with a row of sc into the chain if that’s how you prefer to work.
I was just going to request this pattern. Thank you!
