I made the first and second scrunchie! The 2nd is my favorite and I memorized the pattern very fast

I am currently making scrunchies, beanies, bucket hats, and soon, stuffed animals, in bulk for the upcoming craft fairs in June and October. I really liked the second tutorial, and am going to be using it a lot these next few months. Thank you very much 💚

Similar to your ruffle scrunchi I like to do treble crochets all around the scrunchi and I think it looks really pretty and you can add little details like picots on the second round idk I think they are fun and look pretty nifty lol

I always make the second one with fluffy yarn Even tho it is harder to work with it looks much better

Thanks for watchin'! I think the ruffle scrunchie is probably the easiest but I like the "in the round" one better 😆

I rarely, if ever, comment on videos on here, but 1) I just finished making your slipper socks pattern as a gift for my cousin & am moving onto this for my mom, & 2) SQUEALED when you clipped the picture of Slipknot in your video 😄🙂 I always think about them when I make slip knots so we’re cut from the same cloth 😘🤘

I thought the second one was super easy ,but number one was quite quick as well. The last one ended up too bulky, as I comboed two yarn colors. I messed up because I did dc instead of hdc. Works ok but took a while longer

at the end can you just cut the tail instead?

2 dc x 2 into one st, 3 dc into one. Just a little note for the second one☺️

I made the second one for my mom’s birthday. Making it and wrapping it only took about 15 minutes 😁

Do you have website for a step by step process for crochet projects with complete tools and materials used?

Does it matter what kind of yarn you use for the 1st and 3rd? I have some chunky yarn that I think would look amazing

Chunky yarn should work just fine! Sometimes if there's a lot of material or if the yarn/stitch is too stiff, it can just stretch out the hair-tie inside instead of scrunching up but i've found that using a bigger hook or lacier stitch helps.

Whats the size of the crochet hook for the ruffle scrunchie?

4:53 Did you accidentally skip a stitch there? There is a DC next to the ch3. It's hard to see but it's there.

Can you make a smaller one of 3??

1:58 to 2:00 was a bit too fast!! I’ve created a ring around my elastic band, but it seems that my elastic band is hanging over the crocheted ring... I’ll have to try again

I believe it is a 4 ply. I'm not the most familiar with those terms but I know it was a number 2 sock weight yarn.

Make sure you have the same number of stitches in each row ( each time you get back to where you started); make sure the chain number you started with is the same throughout the project. Hope this helps you

At the end (of the second pattern) can you just cut the tail instead of weaving it in with that small hook like she did?

Would a triple crochet be too big a stitch for the first scrunchie?

Second option

Hiya, another way to make a scrunchie like the 2nd way but fluffier is by this pattern Round 1 : sc through the whole band until it is completely covered Round 2 : dc inc (2 dc) in every stitch Round 3 : 3 dc in ever stitch This pattern will give a fluffier look and feel 😊 Oh, and to achieve a better look I recommend using the same colours throughout
